Golf Town

Posting one star as no stars is not an option. Very disappointed in my experience, walked into Golf town on May 17th and was not greeted by a single employee. After walking around and finding the set of clubs my husband was interested in purchasing, still not a single one of the 5 employees spoke to us or even approached, despite making eye contact with a few. We made our way over the the golf shoes passing two employees who didn’t say a single word to us, we helped ourselves and found the shoes we wanted to purchase. We then went back to the clubs in hopes of finding some help. We finally went and asked an employee at the pro shop desk for some help. The employee was quite annoyed that he had to help a customer. After confirming the only set left were the ones on the floor, and being told “well you can just buy those ones” we were appalled that, selling golf clubs that are scratched and demos not in new condition at full price was even suggested, with no offer to order in a new set. I asked the employee if they could order a new set in for pickup, I was told to go online and order a set myself. So I did, but not from Golf Town. The lack of customer care and effort put forth by the employees was astounding not to mention the simple questions I asked were answered incorrectly with the correct answers found on the website. Whilst I can appreciate Golf Town hiring very young teenagers to work for them, give them the proper training before allowing them to be the face of the store, unless losing customers is the goal.

WOW, where do I start!!?? Today on my day off I was looking to stop at Golf Town before my round. I was greeted with open arms upon my arrival. It felt as if all my worries in life were lifted. When I started my search for the items I was visiting for, a nice young man came up to me and asked if he could aid me in my search. I agreed. He then began to show me multiple items that were on sale and it made the shopping experience like no other. His knowledge of every aspect of the store and items was most impressive. All the staff made it such an easy process and an enjoyable one.This store has come a long way and every time I visit, their level of customer service seems to get better and better with every time I come in. So, thank you to the very handsome young man that made my visit a walk in the park and to the very friendly customer service staff at the front of the store. Way to go Golf Town Kingston! Way to represent Golf Town between Toronto to Ottawa! 10/10 Will always return! Until next time (which will be soon!)!-Very Happy Customer

I had dealings with the store in Kingston and was very impressed with Trevor at the store, he was very professional and understanding of my needs.Awesome customer relations.

Nahnah nah nahnah nah. That’s suppose to be the Rocky theme, and if you go to Golf Town in Kingston look for Rocci (pronounced the same) he went above and beyond making sure I tried every option of shaft and head for all the demo models so I not only got what for my style but also my budget. Never felt like we were taking up his time and I left with the best club I’ve ever owned. All the staff was amazing but him in particular is who I’d suggest if you are like me and don’t know what you’re looking for. 10/10 will be back

I was having issues with my irons, and was looking to upgrade them to something more reasonable as I was playing blades 690mb I love the clubs but it was time for an upgrade. I went to go see Matt. He was awesome. He quickly found the issues that I had with my old irons, and was setting me up with higher launch and distance as well which I was looking for. His knowledge of Irons was fantastic. He corrected a lot of things I was doing wrong as well with my older irons for that little bit of extra help as well, He went above and beyond to support me with choosing iron selection for my next set. I would highly recommend going to him for any issues.

Stopped by to grab a couple small extras but my Wife and I couldn't help but have a look around. We were checked on a few time by different individuals so a very attentive staff.

I was wandering around the store on Sunday just looking at all the beautiful stock they have., I was greeted by what I thought was a young gentleman named Nick Q. My suspicions turned out to be as I thought. He showed me around the store and introduced me to new clubs and tools I have yet to here of. 10/10 experience will definitely be returning.

WORST GOLFTOWN EVER!! Let me be clear, I phoned a day in advance to ensure I would have no issues because I live about 2 and 1/2 hours away!!!!!. I called on July 6th at 640pm to inquire about some grips (6 golf pride cpx and 3 tour wrap, both in midsize) and if my clubs could be regripped same day they were dropped off. I was told they were in stock and could be done same day. great! The next day (July 7th) I drove the 2 and 1/2 hours to the Kingston store and arrived shortly after noon hour. When I got to the service desk and explained what I was after the guy went into the back and came out with nothing. We do not have those grips in stock. When I asked how that was possible because I called yesterday to ensure this wouldn't happen, I was met with a smug look and a sarcastic comment from the kid behind the desk. He then continued to tell me that I would just have to pick a different grip. No! I do not want a different grip, what part of calling ahead was missed here? He then offers me the cpx in an undersize" which is just a ridiculous suggestion and hints that the person behind the pro shop desk knows next to nothing about golf clubs. Why would someone who requires a "midsize" grip drop TWO sizes down to and "undersize" grip? Ridiculous to even suggest that. Why would you fit a golfer into something that doesn't match their needs. No offer of a discount or free install to make up for the issue. nothing. So at the end of the day I wasted $50 in gas
