Thank you Fort Garry Dental Centre. Dr Mao and the staff there are awesome people. They are friendly, professional and kind.

These guys are amazing. My 4 year old needed a filling and they were awesome. No freezing necessary we had a way better experience here for a filling than we did at a “children’s” place for a cleaning. I will never go anywhere else again

Dr. Mao is a great dentist really cares about you. The facility is clean, modern, and the equipment is high tech. When I go for my dental cleaning my teeth are usually in bad shape (ie; build up, lots of tea stains ect), but afterwards its clean as a whistle and super smooth!All the staff are friendly and professional, I would recommend to any of my friends or family

Incredible staff and team, quick and efficient. The building is always immaculate with a kind receptionist who is welcoming. Dr. Mao is brilliant and excellent at his job, he has done remarkable cosmetic work on my teeth that I am pleased with. Thank you.

The two Michelles (receptionist and hygienist) are so wonderful. Michelle, the receptionist, has been here for years and is a class act. All the hygienists I’ve had have been excellent. Although the building is spacious and the approach to the door is a ramp, the door doesn’t have a button to open it. When I’ve arrived with wheels, I’ve either called ahead to ask Michelle to open the door for me, which she was very happy to do, or I’ve opened it myself while slowly pushing my wheels through. I use mobility devices for independence; depending on others to open doors takes away from that. Struggling to do it myself feels awkward and draws attention to my disability. I know it is expensive to install accessible doors, but with the extensive reno a number of years ago, I’m surprised this was overlooked. I can’t be the only patient who arrives with wheels. I’m not meaning for this to sound like a rant or venting, but I think it’s important to bring to light concerns of the disabled community. Accessibility makes businesses much more inviting.

did my braces here, spend LOTS of money, did not pay off. My teeth are obviously not biting together but they still took my braces off.They have checked my biting, the doctor still said they looked fine, even though they really aren’t.Did fillings several times here, 2 of them were redone.The doctor was not gentle at all. One of their hygienist was very harsh.Overall bad experience here. They charge a lot, and money does not pay off.

I got my implant done from Dr Mao. All I want to say about him is that he is a very very very nice human being as well as a wonderful doctor. He is so efficient at his work and gives genuine advice. I had already got my implant done from India but it failed and I was really scared to go through all the pain one more time. But Dr Mao made the experience very smooth. I feel myself truly lucky to come across a wonderful doctor. I am never going to any other dentist in my life. And Michelle (at reception) is very nice as well.

Dr. Mao is the most gentle and understanding, he explains all options, if you are scared or embarrassed about teeth problems, this is the dentist to see! The hygenesists are knowledgeable, professional, pleasant and take the time to educate. Have never been so happy with a dental centre :) I'm always recommending them to friends and family!

Dr. Mao is the best! He's been my dentist for 6 years, ever since i came to Canada. He's very professional, explains all your options gently and in a friendly manner. My husband and i even shares a joke with him sometimes. I feel like we've been friends for a long time. Since i got my braces, i'd popped up or call right away for emergency or some adjustment and he's been very understanding and accomodating. He's so dedicated, caring and a perfectionist at his profession. He did my bridge one time and i almost didn't recognized it was a fake tooth. His staff are awesome too! He has a diverse staff. Everyone is friendly, cheerful, they remember your name and call to remind if you have an appointment. His office is organized and very clean. Although i miss the tooth sign outside his office cos that's how i recognize or give direction when i recommend him to my friends and family. I highly recommend Dr. Mao and his excellent staff! Thank you for taking care of my teeth Dr. Mao!

Switching dentists to Fort Garry Dental Centre was the best choice I ever made. I used to dread going to the dentist but I loved my experience here. My dental hygienist was very knowledgeable and I was greeted by friendly receptionists. Dr.Lee and Haley made my experience fun and memorable even while getting fillings done.Would highly recommended!
