Great store for shoes and running gear. I've shopped here for 3 of my running shoes since 2019 and also get my electrolytes here (NUUN). New location is handy too; Yonge and Castlefield.Thanks for the helpful service each time I'm in!

I’ve had such helpful experiences here from the staff. As a non racing runner, still learning about the types of shoes and benefits, the team takes time in finding products that work for individual needs. I look forward to weekends when I have time to shop and look around the store! The team is patient and seem genuinely interested in their customer. Glad it’s in the neighbourhood and I highly recommend!

I have been running long distance for 13 years now with multiple marathons under my belt. I would say I am a fairly experienced runner. Blacktoe is by far my favourite running store in Toronto. The team is always so helpful and knowledgeable but more than this many have the lived experience of what it takes to run long distances and I really appreciate all the conversations I’ve had with folks at Blacktoe over the years. It’s always a pleasure to go.

Cozy little spot with a great collection of the best running brands (mainstream and niche). The staff there knows their business and provide excellent advice. I was assisted by Sarah; she asked me specific questions, checked the right variables, and came in with an excellent set of recommendations. I ended up buying the first shoe I tried on, which fit perfectly and gave just the support I was looking for. If you want a running shoe, just drop in, no Internet research needed, and when the staff claim they're good at finding the right shoe, they mean what they say! Hands down one of the best retail experiences I've had so far!

I just got into Toronto from Whistler and was looking for some trail running shoes, naturally used Google and found Black Toe Running. I stopped by just to take a look at what they had.Nice little shop, they have a wide selection of gear, similar products as you would find in BC. I spoke with a lovely employee by the name of Leah, she was very knowledgeable and was able to explain the benefits of each shoe to me. Although I didn't get a pair just yet, the experience was quite nice!

Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly staff. I dropped by today and spoke with Tanya (if I remembered her name correctly). Brought the shoe I currently run with and she quickly analyzed the tread. She suggested for me to try the gait mat for a further in-depth analysis. She brought out 3 pairs that would be suitable given the information from the analysis. Never felt pressured or rushed. Even though they were quite busy and seemed sort staffed. They were very attentive and circled back when they could. Left with more knowledge and a shoe that fits incredibly! Thank you Tanya (:

Went in for running shoes for my son and the team at BlackToe was amazing! As soon as we walked in they were attentive and provided us with the best advice on the shoes that would address his needs. The staff was also very kind. We will definitely come back here for the next pair.

I’m a clueless newbie who needed a good pair of walking shoes. The worker there seemed very knowledgeable and was extremely patient as I tried probably 10 different shoes/sizes/widths until I found the perfect one. Lovely spot :)
