The Loving Barbers Company

I've walked by this place for months. Finally tried and it was worth the visit. I'm probably more of a night time client so the evening cut was great. I got a bald fade and was offered, for the first time, the choice between a matte or glossy product. I like the decor: history, photography, art. My barbour was a hunk which enhanced the experience.

Had my 7 month old’s haircut here; Cheryl did a great job working with him and making him look dapper. She was very friendly, accommodating when my husband requested to sit next to our son so he could try to entertain him, and did a great job (especially when babies want to look everywhere). Would highly recommend her!

Great place I must say !!!!

I went to the Corydon location. Inside was very dirty and unkept (hair trimmings on all the counters and floors). Haircut was incredibly mediocre for $40. Guy ran a buzzer for 10 minutes and called it a day.No offer of a wash and condition, service was all around mediocre.Likely better off going to ultracuts.

--June 2022 updateRecently gone back to the shop and I'm going to have to reduce their rating. Both times I've gone I've had to to wait 15 even after having to make an appointment. My recommendation is to be aware and if you still want to go to make sure that you budget your time appropriately. I still think they do a good job and if it weren't that issue I would happily give a better rating.As you enter the door to the shop you are greeted by many different kinds of people getting just as many different kinds of cuts. Beards, and hair, trims and cuts. I went for a beard trim not expecting the work they put into it. The barber, Bryan, was kind and courteous as well as knowledgeable. Not knowing what was going to work with my face I went in blind but came out a believer. I would and am absolutely going back again.

I was looking for a decent barber shop, not for me as im bald, but for my 16 year old son. He badly needed a haircut but didn't know what style he wanted. He had no idea. I phoned The Loving Barbers Company as it's fairly close to home on Corydon here. They were professional in answering and were sure to also text me for my appointment time. Which I appreciated as im a texter and didn't have to write it down. There was a change made day before and again it was handled professionally by the assigned barber himself, Brendan. Although the last minute change was unexpected, it all worked out. Upon meeting Brendan he was great with my son and gave really useful suggestions for his particular shape of face etc. He also used some product that my son absolutely loved and later I texted him to get the name of the product. Not only did he respond quickly, he even sent a couple photo examples of what he can get from a local shoppers drugmart etc. Very helpful and I'd absolutely recommend this place.

Cool setup in the shop. Love the relaxed atmosphere. They spend a good amount of time on each customer, making sure you have no stray hairs. Little difficult finding parking sometimes on Corydon.
