Almira's Mediterranean Grill
Best shawarma in Okotoks! Sam and the team here make a very delicious and filling wrap.The food is quite reasonably priced for how filling it is. The garlic sauce could be a bit stronger but that is a personal preference.This was my niece's first shawarma experience and she just announced that she immensely enjoyed it.Friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere.

We had a great time here. Excellent customer service to match the excellent food (donair & chicken). Only downside is it's a far distance from us. We highly recommend!

Almira's Mediterranean Grill
5/5 for Almira’s! I had the chicken with rice, tomato cucumber salad, chips and hummus. Very flavorful. Definitely recommend this place.

Almira's Mediterranean Grill
We stopped in today for the first time. We ordered a beef donair and a chicken shwarma. Both were excellent. We also ordered a Turkish coffee - highly recommended! We will be back.

Fantastic food and staff. Great selection and prices. Really nice atmosphere and clean, organized restaurant. Definitely won't be hungry when you leave.

Almira's Mediterranean Grill
This is a small Mediterranean restaurant in okotoks. We ordered chicken shawarma wrap & chicken touk plate. The food was delicious, but the service was a little bit slow. There is outside seating available, too. Washroom was clean. There is a small parking lot close to the restaurant.

Thank you to management and staff at Almira’s wow what an experience of great customer service and amazing food. Can’t say enough about my visit here and will be going again very shortly. They have dining in if you don’t want to do take out. Very clean and spacious for small or bog parties. Be sure to check them out

EDIT: We tried, again - and it was DELICIOUS. We got donairs this time. Great big portions and awesome toppings. I couldn't stop eating the meat. We really appreciated the kind response to our previous post and are so excited to eat here again - soon!----------------------------------------We had a terrible experience with Almira's. For Mother's Day, we thought we would try Almira's since Mediterranean is her favourite. We submitted a large order on SkiptheDishes around 5:00pm for delivery between 6:30-7pm, which was confirmed immediately. At 6:23, we got a call that you were out of tabouli...my favourite dish, but whatever. We took the offer to substitute the house salad. Although we submitted the order in advance, our food wasn't ready until 7pm. We didn't receive our order until after 7. We asked for pita bread for the wait, which we got, but it was a small portion for four of us eating. We would've paid for extra had it been on option on the menu.The house salad was a pathetic amount of marinated tomatoes - disappointing. The falafel looked like bits scraped out of a pan - although the falafel salad description literally says patties" - and put on "salad" (some iceberg lettuce) which was loaded with onions and olives. Served by two younger guys, very friendly and quick service.Ordered mixed shawarma and onion rings.This is now going to be my go-to place for shawarma as it was excellent, much better than the other places in Okotoks.Onion rings were good, I'm picky with onion rings, I hate it when you bite into one and the whole onion comes out. There's were cooked well, onion was still crisp and not soggy and so I didn't have the thing with all the onion coming out.Great place, would recommend.
