The food is always delicious and the service very friendly. The food is fresh, the pita always freshly baked. If you know Arabic food or if you are trying it for the first time you will not be disappointed.Over all the place is nice. I would encourage a “facelift” specially in the heavily stained floor. I said this in the nicer way possible.They deserve 5 for the food!

Best Kibbeh, Hummus, and Pita in the city! The store has so many spices, pickles, and other. Fresh baked pitas in bags for sale(did I mentioned they are THE BEST??) The staff are wonderful and we love eating fresh and flavourful food here. Please try them...you will NOT be disappointed!

Delicious middle eastern food for a reasonable price. The pitas were hot, fresh and soft. I've never eaten a better pita. The appetizers and wraps really hit the spot, felt like home style cooking. Food was served quickly. There's an attached store that sells fresh pita, hummus and garlic sauce, as well as other middle eastern food products. Planning to go back soon!

Ordered 1 chicken shawarma and found it very good.Ordered 3 types of man'ousheh: zaatar one was good, lahm was decent but spinach was inedible.For me the highlight was the lack of decent customer service. We didn’t feel welcome at all. Some people working there didn’t seem thrilled with their jobs.Otherwise a decent place. Might order again but ONLY for home delivery.

First observation - small portion, I went with the large shawarma pita but still felt underwhelmed.Respectively the large was still affordable at $12, but not encouraged for anyone with a healthy appetite.Quality was fine, the chicken was high end.I clearly asked for no pickles as I don’t want pickles in my shawarma.I was given pickles.Having to dispose of the pickles while ripping apart the shawarma impacted my experience negatively. Kinda ruined the meal for me.

The food at Al Salam is amazing and always fresh. We love the pita bread, tabbouleh, and the akawi cheese. We cannot say enough about their creamy home made hummus, as we always get some.I would also like to recommend the staff for friendliness and helpfulness. They have an amazing grocery section too, which is interesting and well stocked.

This middle Eastern GEM in Edmonton makes you feel like you're eating in a family space, with food cooked with love!We had a group of 12 for lunch, shared some DELICOUS platters, drank ayran and Turkish coffee. The freshly served pita was soft and steaming and the variety of dips on the menu all have a unique flavour. YUM AND THANK YOU!
