We had to change two heat pumps and furnaces. We were extremely satisfied. The salesman was prompt and informative. When the crews arrived to do the installation they arrived at 7am as promised. One crew worked outdoor on the heat pumps. Another crew was working simultaneously inside on the furnaces. They were polite, professional and made sure everything was working and explained to us before leaving our home late that day. We would highly recommend this company. I used Excel in March 2017 for a heat pump installation and again this March for a furnace replacement. The Excel team is outstanding. David, the sales rep, was very helpful and patient in answering all of my questions and concerns for both installations, but especially for the furnace as I was converting from oil to electric. Mathieu, Larry, Louis, Dave, and the rest of the installation and electrician team arrived on time, took care to protect my carpet and floors and worked diligently to complete the job in one day. They were professional and pleasant to have in the house. They cleaned up and and left the house almost as it was before the work began. A huge undertaking was made easy and stress free by the whole team. I would definitely use Excel for any future needs and highly recommend them.

Both my air exchanger and AC were installed by excel. Air exchanger had a tear in the duct began leaking moisture and it took many weeks for them to come look at it after which they charged $100 to say there was nothing wrong and made no plans to fix the broken duct despite our repeatedly calling them to ask what further action needed to be taken. We also have a warranty on the system that they refused to honorAC also broke from an electrical problem which they said could be fixed by a part replacement, but they just came once again after many weeks just to say the new part wouldn't fix the problem and charged us another $200. Since have switched to another HVAC company and have had a much much better experience with them

We had excel climatisation clean our thermopompe that is 10 years old and was due for a cleaning. A technician named Normand came over and cleaned our machine impeccably. Professional, punctual, polite and overall amazing service. Highly recommend this company, thanks!

Please DO NOT use this company. Beware. They will tell you to replace your machine when you don't need to, they just want your money.After looking at my compressor for 2 minutes, the repair man named Mario Dupuis told me I need to buy a new wall air conditionner because my unit had no gas left in it. This 2 minute visit cost me 178$. I decided to get a second opinion from a different company. The repair man from the other company told me there WAS gas in my machine. He added a product that would fix any leaks if there were any & then added gas to my machine. It works fine now. I spent 450$ instead of 5000$ on a new machine, which would have required breaking the wall where my machine is located in order to replace it. This is because Excel, who installed it 8 years ago, cut corners and put all the wiring in the walls.I believe I was lied to in order to get me to buy a new machine with them.When I called to demand a reimbursement of the 178$, they said no because their repair man is correct. He told me I had NO OTHER OPTION. Meanwhile, I have a functional ac unit right now. It may only last a few more years, but it was still an option.On top of all this, I had left a message with the sales department to get a quote on a new machine before I decided to get a second opinion and weeks went by without anyone returning my call (They never did).If I could give 0 stars, I would. Save yourself the trouble and find another company. I have made an official complaint with the Office de Protection du Consommateur. I'm not sure if they only do this to young women who don't know anything about ac units, or if they do this to everyone.I suggest you do some research first to learn a bit about how these machines work and also that you ask lots of questions when a repair man comes to inspect your unit.*EDIT: 2 years later and my ac unit still works.

Very competent sales department. Looking forward for my new installation.Follow-up: I just had the new heat pump and electric furnace installed and I'm extremely satisfied! The 2 teams (electrical and HVAC) were amazing. Very competent and courteous...always answered my questions and explained all the functions of the system. Would highly recommend.

In the intense Montreal Heat and Humidity June 18 2020 my AC was not working. 34 degrees celcius in the Condo. Call for a technician to come and see what the problem was after I asked politely that I work at night and need to sleep in AC conditions . They quickly sent a technician the next day . Sadly my compressor failed after 10 years and now I needed a new unit. Saturday morning the 20th of June I went and see the rep at the store very nice and the unit was ordered. I had to wait till Monday to speak to the service and installation manager knowing that it was not going to be installed due to delays. Monday came spoke with the receptionist very nice and the service manager and was able to get an appointment the following week , i said not to bad. Withen the hour the service manager calls back saying that the unit that i ordered is not compatable with my piping and wiring and that he had another unit to suggest to me , I had no choice and to my surprise he said that they can install it in the afternoon. That Monday afternoon in the intense heat the installers came and finished withen 2 hours leaving my place in the same condition they found it. We usually hear of bad reviews and horror stories when it comes to customer service. But to my surprise and my neighbors my AC broke and withen a few days I had a new unit installed . Amazing service from everyone from Excel starting from the receptionist, representative , service manager and the installers. Great Job I highly recommend this Company . Bravo !

Changed 2 HVAC systems (AC & Heating), big job and the Excel team was simply amazing from start to finish. Sales, quoting, measurements, appointment, installation, service after install.... everything was perfect. I strongly recommend Excel Climatisation for residential and commercial.
