I was very pleased with the services and the wonderful caring people there. They made me smile and they where the shining light on a cloudy day.Thankfully there are some really amazing caring people working there .

Was on Social Services here a few years back. The workers treat you like paper work. I personally have dealt with this and have had friends too who have told their workers about their mental illness being a barrier, and they don't recieve help for that. In fact, they cut off your income without notice or phone call then are impossible to get a hold of to fix said problem.I have anxiety and manic depression, sometimes I can be flakey. I work myself up hours before a simple appointment. It's not because I'm lazy and I just don't want to go. It's because I'm terrified, panicked and physically ill. When I tell that to a worker, I expect to be understood and at the very least heard.I live in London now. You'd think with a big city like this their program would be just as scrambled and if not more than Tillsonburg's but it's WAY better. I have a worker who listens, is consistant with communication via email, phone and in person, treats me like a human and not just another person abusing the system. I can tell my worker has an actual interest in helping me.Y'all need to either hire more workers to lessen the case load of each, or hire some people with empathy. Just a thought.

The people and workshops provided here are incredibly helpful and warm. I've been to many workshops here that I have been able to utilize in my own career. Those running the workshops have been incredibly helpful and open to great discussion.
