The host was rather unwelcoming and seemed pretty indifferent about the guests’ overall experience. The drinks were certainly amazing and very unique.I do believe it takes more than great ambience and great menu options to make people come back, however this place proves me wrong as each drink is a work of art I’m looking forward to trying again soon.

People who say the owner/ host is offensive definitely have no sense of humor. Like the vibe, like the idea behind the barber shop bar. Interesting selection of drinks. Both drinks we ordered were strong and you can taste alcohol, not like the majority of places where they serve you ice for $20.Make a reservation otherwise no guarantee they will have a table for you.Recommend and I will be back! Thank you

Such a unique and amazing experience! Saw some reviews complaining about the service but seriously if you’re not an entitled a$$hole and just follow the rules you’ll have no issues and get to experience such a greatly decorated speakeasy with incredibly creative, top notch cocktails! H said the cocktails change each season so I cant’t wait come back and try the new cocktail masterpieces!

A cool cocktail bar behind a barber shop with limited seating. Arrived at opening and it filled up quick. Unique and tasty cocktails, but you pay the ‘speakeasy’ premium. Will return

I love this place, great selection of cocktails and rare spirits. Very interesting setup, it’s an “easy speak” bar located inside a barbershop. However, be ready to get frustrated with the staff. Some nights they are very friendly, and some other nights they can bite your head off. Depends on their mood and apparently on your behaviour. They have a rule book, make sure you read it before showing up and “DO NOT KNOCK ON THE DOOR”, just wait for them to open the door whenever they like, then look them in the eye and be as cute as you can, don’t say anything, they will choose to let you in if they like you. Oh, and another important note, be very careful with your flash when taking pictures, their eyes are very sensitive to light, and you will be kicked out, no kidding.

Speakeasy vine spot on the Ossington strip. Cocktails change 4 times a year with each season. Owners said he never repeats options. Would love to come. Ack in Spring.

The bald owner is not a good person. Unhinged and bizarre. I totally understand that they are trying to craft an atmosphere of exclusivity but his erratic behavior would indicate he is either insane or just completely unaware of the term hospitality. We had a group of six so we split our party up into two groups and were seated quickly. The place was pretty empty so after ordering our drinks we politely asked if it would be possible to sit together at the bar. The bald man decided to loudly and belligerently demand we leave and insisted we had lied to him. It was a simple request on a quiet night and we were met with extreme hostility. He caused a scene to embarrass us and had zero empathy. Had enjoyed in the past and always wondered what the bad reviews were all about. Found out in a big way. Come here with one person and avoid the crooked tooth bald man at all costs or don't come at all.

One (if not) of the best bars in Toronto. The bald rude guy is the biggest reason drinks are beyond your expectations and really unique. If you can’t read THE SIGN on the door, be patient and respectful - you better go somewhere on king w where you’ll be welcomed without the ability to do any of those things.Great, great, great bar, amazing cozy interior, exquisite drinks, reasonable prices for the quality you’re getting. Way beyond 5 stars.
