Update: Quality of their stuff is perfect, got everything I needed, seems to be the perfect place for dance wear. Regardless the issue I had, I will go back there if I need to.Their business hours does not match the store hours. I tried 5X in a week, to pick up my orders, during their business hours (hours mentioned on their voice mail and store door), it was close every time. I will update my review once I'll get the product I've purchased.

not a bad place but I went there 15 minutes before they are closed and the doors were locked. I rang the door bell and no one came, and I called and no one answered. If a business says they're open until 5:30, they shouldn't be closed at 5:15. Not good for customers who work 9-5.

My review is based solely on customer service. My child and I were treated with horrendous disrespect a few weeks ago. We needed assistance with pointe shoes and Cheri took it upon herself to make my 9 year old and I very uncomfortable. I don’t know if she was having a bad day before we came into Dancer’s Den but she was quite snobby to us and very unfriendly right off the hop from when we walked in. It was our first time visiting the store and my kid was very excited so I ignored the majority of Cheri’s mistreatment. I spent about 5-10 minutes in the store. During that time she scoffed at me and my child, made me feel my questions were stupid, and told my kid that she’s “not very nice for searching online for other options”. I was shocked by her behaviour. I noted her name tag and asked her if she was the owner. Cheri stormed away and said “no”. We left promptly after. When we got back into the car my kid asked why the lady was so mean to her. It was a terrible experience we will not return for.

Great selection and excellent service. The person running the store was by herself and it was busy but she made sure we all got property fitted and found what we needed.

We have always had very positive experiences shopping at Dancers Den. The staff are always willing to help find everything that we are looking for, even when the store is busy. They have a great selection and we always leave with everything we need which makes it very convenient.

My preferred dance store. Good selection and helpful staff. Always bought my shoes here and was fitted for my first pair of pointe shoes a few years ago which was so amazing. A good fit is critical for dance wear so trying it on in person beats shopping online!!

I was waiting for a cab in the stairwell and I must have been looking too brown for the storekeeper. Myself and another brown person were asked to leave. We explained that we were just waiting for a cab. He wouldn't leave us alone until we walked out(without a word from us)as he ushered us out the door. Acting as if he had authority over us. He just wanted us too know how much better he was than us. Very rude as we were not causing trouble. I have stood in this stairwell many times before, but I also had my adult son and daughter that could pass as white with me.

I wish I could give this less than one star. Worst customer service ever!!! My 4 year old daughter and I went in this Sept for her first dance shoes ever. She was very excited but was met with a crusty salesPerson who was clearly in a rush and acted as if we were inconveniencing her for asking her to help fit my daughter for a pair of tap and ballet shoes. She brought a few sizes, assured me the tap shoes fit even after I questioned the size and was impatient with my daughter about standing up to fit the shoes. I purchased the shoes and they have never fit correctly. It has made my 4 year old not want to go to dance because she hates her tap shoes. When I went back to the store I was told it was outsideOf the return policy window so my only option was to sell these essentially brand new tap shoes on consignment for $10. I then asked if she could helpUs find a used pair. The sales person walked me to the used shoe rack and said “the patent ones are all on the bottom rack” she then walked away even though there was nobody else in the store and left me to sort through a mass of shoes that were not even marked for size.Unfortunately this awful business is one of the only places in town but I amSo dissatisfied that I will go to great lengths to not have to support them again.

It's unfortunate that this is the one store for dance outfits that my child's dance school requires. I bought some new dance shoes yesterday and forgot to use the coupon that was emailed to me. When I called the store to explain this to them, l was rudely informed that they could not give me a refund then apply the coupon to the purchase because they were too busy. Wow, I guess that's what you call customer service!
