Mainstreet Equity Corp. - Abbotsford Office

I have applied for apartment to rent in Abbotsford. No response at all. I have everything what is needed ( references, good credit score ). Management just keeps ignoring potential tenants. I also sent a few messages, still nothing. They keep posting ads regarding available vacancies everyday. I have no clue where is the problem.

There shuld be reserved flats, for sinear persons with low rent.

Great place to live, well maintained and fantastic/attentive management.Not the norm for large property corporations, but Mainstreet bucks the trend!Would recommend.

I am looking forward to rent an apartment in Abbotsford and its almost impossible to reach a person who can actually show me the apartment. I have tried calling Mainstreet several times" to schedule an appointment

I had my car towed from Mountainview Terrace in Abbotsford. BC. I was parked on a visitors spot as I was not a tenant at this time. The property manager made a mistake and decided to listen to someone else and didn't do a investigation on her own.It's been over 5 weeks and they still have not reimbursed me for a ticket, impound and tow fees. They are now claiming that a cheque has to come from their head office in Calgary... quite pathetic if you ask me

Bad company to rent from!!Landlord does do his job properly; poor communication skills .The company doesn’t take pride in their buildings. Company is too cheap by having only one landlord and one landscaper/cleaner for 5 buildings ! Aka no pride taken in appearance of property .We had no heat !!!!! For a minimum 3 weeks straight smack in the middle of coldest snap of the year ; with no compensation to tenants; and worse of all ; not enough space heaters to go around !Who in their right mind decides to change out old boiler for new one to a 42 apartment unit in middle of winter !!!!Serious roof leak in my apartment on top floor ( damaging my belongings ) for at least 3 hours water leaking before a quick fix patch repair : to which was during our having NO Heat situation - so to which my ceiling couldn’t dry the moisture properly! Instead of properly removing entire drywall/ceiling to dry out and prevent mold growing ; all that was done was quick spackling;sand; and one coat of paint .
