Skate Windsor

My son had never been on skates prior to starting canskate with skate windsor. I had emailed and spoken with them prior to registering him and was reassured that he would be looked after. I am a single parent and am not a skater but feel it is important for him to learn to skate and had voiced that to them. He and the members in his group spent so much time just standing in the middle of the ice with no instruction. When I emailed to voice my concern, it was minimized and I felt mocked. I had emailed at the beginning of the session requesting if any of the instructors might be available for 1 on 1 instruction at a different time which I would be happy to pay extra for, at that time, i was told they would get back to me. Then after I had voiced my concern that my child and his group had stood in the middle of the ice with no instruction, I was told that i was supposed to have requested this from the instructors myself, when I never saw any of them off the ice nor did I know any of their names so not sure how I was supposed to have asked them. He received a report card" on April 11 with check marks off of skills he had accomplished on march 7th when there were 5 more weeks of instruction after that
