Staropolskie's is about the most authentic Polish Deli you are going to find in the region. The sandwiches are their most popular item and, frankly, you have to be either a steel worker or a very hungry man to finish it all. There is a great selection of cold cuts, bakery, and Polish staple groceries. There is a very small eat-in section (two tables). The staff are friendly, helpful and very pleasant. We come once a month or so from Toronto just for their famous sandwiches and deli shopping. Highly recommend for a delicious and delightful experience.

Product is one thing, customer service is another. I shopped here regularly for probably 2 years, but eventually became so turned off by the miserable staff (generally the older staff) that I just couldn't go back. As an aside, Teresa the manager will tell you anything to sell something and get it out the door. Ironically, I went in today for something from the hot table and was instantly reminded why I don't like to go in there. Miserable staff. One star based on this experience.

I used to go here alot when I work by Dofasco in the 90's. Best value and quality for mixed Sammy. I have stopped by about 10 times in the last year and each time the bread is so stale. Used to be so fresh every time. My last Sammy last week was so stale I couldn't even eat it. So sad and I gave it so many chances. I will be looking for new deli.

Awesome place!! I just moved to the neighborhood and I am so glad this is a short walk away! The Kielbasa is really really good. and at an amazing price. I would have taken a picture of the cabbage rolls but I devoured them before I thought of it. The chicken cutlets melted in my mouth with pleasant flavor and texture.The folks working there were really nice, it was a more than pleasant shopping experience.

Great deli and baked goods, used to like coming here to grab a quick lunch when I lived in the area.Cabbage rolls are really good, and they make delicious mini pork burger patties (not sure what they are actually called).Nice selection of deli meats, sausage and bread/pastry items, love the custard buns.Can get a little busy around lunch hour but rarely takes very long to checkout. Cashiers are super nice & friendly ladies, definitely recommend to anyone who likes European and or Polish food. Really, I think anyone who likes food in general would be quite content here!

Very beautiful polish sandwich shop been going here since I was a little boy! Definitely recommend grabbing a mixed sandwich and some kielbasa, and you have to try the cakes as well. I promise you won't be disappointed going here

Kustra kielbasa is my favourite. Taste is still pretty good since Staropolskie took over making it. Their hot foods are so yummy to. I am not Polish, but I sure enjoy their products.

Best sandwiches in town! Pretty cheap too for the portion you get. They also have excellent pierogies and potato pancakes, among other great food ready to eat. Decent selection of frozen goods as well.

First visit and will aim to shop there regularly! (However closing hours don't work well for my schedule)I grew up shopping in delis like this, so it felt like home right away. Customer service and generosity with the food is much appreciated and I look forward to trying more of the hot food available there.
