Made it easy to replace my lost card

A cozy little community library with plenty of sitting space, large windows, study space, and a dedicated children’s area. It is quite small and does not have a quiet reading or study area. Whenever there are kids at the library, it gets quite loud. They also have a newspaper and magazine reading area. The bathrooms at this location are always clean and well maintained.

I have received exactly what I needed: a neat coworking space, I needed to study quickly, using internet, and I got it! The procedure of setting up my membership card(account) was quick, the lady was so kind and helpful. At the end I could not resist a temptation to pick up something for kids from the sale items available at the “book nook” shelves. Aw, and there’s parking for bikes too. Overall experience: i am happy, and definitely coming back.

My laser printer ran out of toner recently so i decided to pay the Ottawa public library a visit and use the printer there. As far as SPEED my experience only took about 5 minutes. When it comes to EASE OF USE however, it's a different story. Gone are the days of pressing the print button on screen and then hovering around the printers to get your print out. The process is a little more complex now. I was told to ask for assistance with my print job and when the time came, i did. There were SO MANY on screen steps involved, there were like 8 button presses and 3 different pop up screens but i eventually got my print outs. The staff was super friendly and efficient. The staff member helped me with getting a brand new library card as well as helping me out with using the printer which is why it was so fast. All in all my experience at this particular library was a good one.

If you are closed why don’t you update on google maps then I spent 40 min and gas for no reason

Sunny and cozy study space. Not super silent space because of kids and communication but still I love this place because I can smell books here and lot of plants with serene window view ☮️

It was good to be back at the library - staff was friendly and helpful. I had an item on hold that arrived and signed it out.There was ample parking as they had just opened. I looked like the study tables were back in use too!

Cute little library with the worst wifi ever. Took 5 mins to load one page and lags every 2 seconds during videos. Plus it is insanely loud.

Staff was very helpful and assisted me in incredible efficient manner in a way that made it possible to get a lot of things done in the same day.Processes were easy to follow and support was readily available. Great place to bring a child, elders, or anyone that can benefit from a calmer, safe space. Accessibility was good too, from what I've seen they will be ready for any special needs, for example.As a bonus for the families: you are near a public pool and some other open spaces that could be great for kids.Also, during a day when my neighbourhood lacked electricity, I was able to work very well from their tables in a silent and clean ambient.Get your library cards renewed, this place might save your plans in the future!
