Orillia and District Veterinary Services

We would highly recommend the ODVS team to anyone looking for veterinary care. Our dog Angus loves it there - rightfully so, because they saved his life. We owe everything to the Orillia SPCA and the team at ODVS for caring for Angus and treating his heartworm so that we could adopt him and love him the way he deserves. As far as I'm concerned, the beautiful team at ODVS are part of our family and Angus agrees!

Used to come here but the vet bills they would dish out were much more expensive in comparison to other vets we have tried. The staff are super nice though!

After moving to Orillia 2 years ago, we brought our 12 year old Golden Oakley to see them for a check up. Oakley has always had ear infections since he was a young adult. Treatments previously given to him had not worked. He was starting to be lethargic and didn't have the energy we were used to seeing. Sally's staff put him on some regular meds to deal with the ears, and he hasn't had any issues since. He has more energy and is eager for his daily walks, like he was years ago! The staff at Orillia and District are so friendly and always happy to see Oakley!

Dealt with Dr Hillary Rodd, she was a great vet, the best vet at this location, when she left we left, she was very fair and so friendly. We asked several times where she went and they skirted around telling us she had left. No doubt this was only to keep us as clients. In addition to Hillary being friendly the office staff were pleasant as well. No further comments necessary. Nice to be able to track you back down again at Lake Country Hillary.

Amazing vet! The staff love animals and it shows. I will be taking my cat Jack here forever. They have been incredibly helpful and always do checkups via phone or text to make sure Jack is doing well with new meds etc. the best vet in the area by far, Dr Natalie and all the RVTs are so sweet with Jack.

The staff here are very welcoming and they go out of their way to ensure that your pet is as comfortable as possible during their appointment. They explain their findings well and ensure there is a good understanding of your pets treatment needs. They provide a lot of free tips on their online forums as well to help keep you informed and connected to your pets care.

I can't say enough about this vet clinic: It is amazing! From the vet techs to the veterinarians the service is fantastic. They are kind, loving and take great care with both their charges/animals and the parents of the animals. They always have time to listen and help. My Vet - Dr. Sally Moran is and has been absolutely amazing in helping me with my special needs dog Digby... Love this Clinic !

I would highly recommend Orillia and District Veterinary Services. They have been so wonderful with our dog Tucker. Tucker received an osteosarcoma diagnosis 1 year ago and we chose to amputate her leg as a result. Dr. Ali was so good with us while we were having to make really tough decisions and she and the rest of the staff continue to be so amazing with Tucker and us as we continue with their services. I have worked with a number of veterinarian clinics with my various pets and ODVS is hands-down the best.

We attended the vet to inquire about our dog’s increasing separation anxiety and were provided with several strategies from the very knowledgeable staff at the front desk. Dr. Natalie also called us within two hours to further investigate the anxiety and offer advice, tips, and different levels of treatment. We are impressed and grateful for the unexpected level of attention we received today.

We really appreciate the compassion and care that our pets (and by extension our family) received during February 2023 from the Clinic. February 2023 was one of the most challenging months that we have faced in a very long time. Dr Ali and Dr Natalie and all levels of support staff were nothing short of sanity saving.To have 4 animals and have all 4 animals sick at the same time and some with lengthy (weeks long) illnesses was nothing short of a nightmare. And to lose 2 was also extremely, extremely difficult. But it would have been so much more difficult without the daily phone calls and check ins (they were lifesavers!) and medication requests and general working together to help care for our pets.We also greatly appreciate the means by which we were billed for all our visits. All visits and procedures and medications were so fair. Dr Ali and Dr Natalie were so kind and helped us however they could. Providing the best and most compassionate care was so important to us and by making it fair, it was easy to make the best decisions for our pets. We did not feel taken advantage of at any time during all of our agonizing visits. So - thank you Dr Sally, Dr Ali and Dr Natalie so very, very much!The Thomas Family
