Beloved Hair Studio

Everyone here has been truly amazing. The care that Dy has for my hair has been something I’ve never experienced...she is incredibly sweet and knowledgeable. So many salons would be happy to take your money and not care but Dy goes above and beyond to make sure that you’re happy AND that your hair is healthy in the process.The environment is like no other salon…so welcoming and fun! You instantly feel like you’ve gained a new best friend right from your consultation because Dy is so friendly! I cannot recommend Dy and Beloved enough.

I've been looking for a new salon since moving to Mississauga in 2021 and this is the one! I have very wavy hair and a funky cut and I've had difficulty finding a hairdresser help me achieve what I wanted. Dyana was amazing! She listened to what I wanted, asked the right questions, and made great suggestions. She's also comfortable with using a straight-razor to cut layers, something not many hairdressers are skilled at. I walked out with exactly what I wanted and relieved to know I've found a great new hairdresser I can keep seeing.

Dy is the absolute best hairdresser I’ve ever had - to the point that I still come back to Oakville for my vivid even after moving to Toronto.Beloved as a studio is so welcoming and feels so safe for me as a nonbinary person. Every member of staff I’ve ever met has been so kind, friendly, and helpful.Over 5 years, Dy has been supportive of all of my hair desires - from my initial very cautious experimentation all the way through to embracing who I am. My colour is always bright, vibrant, and so clean and the colour lasts for months with proper upkeep. I get all kinds of compliments on the custom colour mixing, and the new techniques she has done. She’s also been so open to experimenting with new looks, taking the challenge when I give her such directions as “anything as long as there isn’t pink at the front.”I cannot recommend this salon enough.

So for anyone looking for pure heart and true soul, with boat loads of talent and knowing her SH$T......this is where and only where you go!!!!! I am one of those wild ones about hair. I'm scared to trust and to allow. Dyana will never ever disappoint. She is amazing about helping my hair grow long and not cut it. I used to go to a top stylists that travels all over the world, decides what's going to be in for top celebrities (colour/stlye). I left him for Dyana and a 2 hour drive and I've never been happier or more complimented. People stop me everywhere. When you need to find someone to trust that will literally somehow nail trendy, classy, bold, sexy, and fierce you need to go in and let her do her thing. She has boosted my confidence in ways that I never thought possible. Beloved Hair Studio for life!!!! 5+++++

I have been a long time customer of Dyana's, but my daughter had her hair done by Autumn for the first time yesterday. She has very long and super thick hair that is not easy to work with, but Autumn did an amazing job giving her a blonde balayage and extended highlights. She was so sweet and patient, and my daughter left the salon feeling absolutely beautiful and confident! Thank you Autumn!

I've been searching for a salon in Oakville for 15 months and I'm so relieved I found Beloved, Dyana, and her lovely staff. The location in Kerr St Village is super charming, a balance of modern and cozy. As a queer person, I felt safe, welcomed, and comfortable in an instant - like I could be fully myself, no questions asked. Dyana provided a super relaxing hair wash and a bonus hydrating treatment - my hair hadn't been cut all winter - and had a thorough consultation with me. I've never had a hairstylist listen as actively and attentively as Dyana; I definitely realized what I'd been missing when I saw the end result, which was beautiful, balanced layers for my mid-length, relatively thin, and naturally straight hair. Dyana was so careful in checking in throughout the appointment and making sure she explained the different things she was doing so I understood how to best care for and style my hair in the future. Even though my previous hairstylist did a lacklustre job and had left me with some weird choppy bits, she didn't have a single unkind word for them and worked with what I came in with to give me the best results. Dyana also did a stunning beach wave for me when I mentioned that I had an event to go to evening too! I honestly didn't want the appointment to end, I had such a good time. I walked out of Beloved with such confidence, brimming with self-love and feeling on top of the world. I can't wait to go back and I'm encouraging my partner to go to. Thank you for creating such an awesome queer friendly and incredibly high quality hairstyling space, Dyana and team!

This is a very overdue review but this salon is amazing. I booked in for a consultation and unfortunately the day of my consultation there was a hugeeee snowstorm and Dyana was so lovely that she took the time out of her day to instead text me about my consultation. This alone was amazing. On the day of my appointment I was super nervous because it was a new salon and I was scared but the moment I walked into the salon, Dyana put me right at ease and was kind and sweet the entire time. She talked me through what would be best to do for my hair and I trusted her opinions and her ideas because I don't know anything about hair. Once my appointment was over, I felt and looked amazing. My hair was shiny and it completely outdid my expectations of what it was going to look like. I may never go back to having black hair because the way Dyana did my hair was incredible. I also want to say that her staff is amazing and super kind. It is such a great environment to be in and I am so looking forward to booking my next appointment soon.

Had an excellent experience here. Oriana took her time shearing me into shape. Very sweet and knowledgeable--I didn't do my research beforehand to bring reference pictures but she got a good feel for my hair+asked the right questions+made good suggestions. A really lovely and welcoming space.

I traveled from Toronto to get a haircut a Beloved. It was my first one in many years. I can not express how comfortable and welcome they made me feel. The cut Oriana gave me has made me feel so much more confident. I can't recommend this place enough. I also feel like the price was so so so good! I 100% will be going back for all of my future cuts.
