Sports Rent is great! Knowledgeable, quick, and helpful staff. Reasonable prices, plus a very helpful 24 hr rental policy where you can pick up equipment the night before.

Very professional staff.Helped me out to get the right snowboard, helmet and boots.Business hours are just perfect if you are going early in the morning to Rockies for a fabulous day of riding.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I honestly don't understand why this place has a 4.2!!! If you look at the people who have reviewed this place poorly, they're all miserable and their reviews are stupid.This is the place to go for all your sports rental needs in Calgary. Their staff are knowledgable, kind and prompt. Pick-up and drop-off were fast but I never felt like I was being rushed. I rented from them several times during my stay in Calgary last week and was very impressed with the quality of service and equipment (ski's, cramp-ons and snowshoes). I also appreciate that you can pick up equipment the night before (after 4:00pm) so that you can get to where you need to go the next morning without wasting any time. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Don't rent from here. When you return your skis they are extremely stingy. They will examine your skis for any sign of imperfection and charge you extra for anything they can think of. I was charged $60. My friend had minor scratches and was charged $30. The only way we could have avoided charges was if we hadn't used the skis.

We rented downhill skis, poles and helmets from Sports Rent. This was only our second time ever skiing and the time before rented from the ski resort.You would think a ski resort would be more experienced but renting from Sports Rent was way better. The equipment was very well maintained, adjusted properly to each member of our group and was very reasonably priced.Staff were all great to deal with as well...we will be back!

Unfortunately I was improperly sized for my XC-ski based on the activity i presented to the staff, which resulted in a bad experience on the slopes. Based on the weight I told them and the amount of gear I was hauling I was given gear that didn’t fit my requirements. Disappointed on how it was handled when when I approached the staff about my experience, they didn’t seem to understand or offer a credit for their misjudgment. After this review I hope they can take steps to improve the quality of their service and ensure that customers receive the guidance and equipment they need to enjoy a ski trip.On a positive note, the location of this shop is conveniently located as it is on your way out to the mountains.

We've been renting rafts, bicycles and skis from Sports Rent for the past 15 years.They've done a terrific job servicing my skates, skis, and bicycles.Thanks guys, you truly do amazing work. Appreciate the service and ensuring my gear is safe to use on my wild adventures!

Visited Sports Rent after the airline lost our skis! The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We were in and out with the right equipment in 15 minutes. Returns were easy as well. Thanks for saving our ski vacation!

Terrible service, cancelled an order and was left with a credit we could not use, upon using the credit they charged our card twice for a damage deposit. Employees are poorly trained. Customer service is low. They do not provide anything useful like receipts even when upon request for commercial businesses. Unless you are using this for personal use on a limited basis I would never recommend.
