Hope’s “More Than A Grocery Store” Clover Farm

Great one place shopping available here. Restrooms are port-a-potties, but usually well stocked and clean and have hand washing stations in them. The deli makes great deviled eggs. When the bakery is baking, smells like heaven.

They have things that are hard to find. Great bakery and butcher. Great varieties

I really enjoy this store. Ya it's a grocery store, ya it sells a lot of the same stuff you see everywhere. But this store still has its charm. Although very well stocked with grocery, deli and a good selection of alcohol it still has a very small town feel. The staff are friendly and quick to help. I never get the impression the staff don't want to be there.Not much else around, and it's located right off the highway. If you need supplies for the cottage, this is a great stop.

For a smallish store it’s comprehensively stocked. Good meats and frozen section, post office and LCBO outlets within. I’ve been many times and staff have been helpful. Produce freshness and expiry dates must be checked (smaller store stock turnover may be lower) but generally fresh varied food in a compact grocery store. I really like the blueberry breakfast sausages! It’s a good place to stock up if cottaging … it keeps the small town feel you’d lose in town that sort of makes groceries a fun activity.

My family and I shop here more than anywhere else. We are excellent customers, and have never shown anything less then extreme kindness and respect to the workers. Today I was having a bad day. and I looked it. The last thing I wanted to do was make a stop, but thought I’d be quick and get it over with. At the check out an older worker then accused me of being intoxicated, and refused me service. She made a scene for everyone around to witness. To say I was embarrassed is an understatement. I cannot even begin express how rude it is to judge someone by the way that they look. I am a well put together woman, who was clearly just having a bad day. I’m a good person, a good customer, and far from the type of person to get drunk BEFORE 10AM, and then DRIVE to the store. I am absolutely mind blown that I was treated this way. Beyond disrespectful, and beyond rude. I have always had the mentality of “who cares what other people think” but after this experience I will say it’ll be hard to continue that self confidence. I would say never shop here - but if you’re having a bad day you’ll probably get refused service anyways.

I dont eat olives. Never have been an olive person... but i tried the olive bread one day and absolutely LOVE IT. It boggles my mind. And my wife/kids minds too haha. My wife thought i was joking when i told her i bought Olive Bruschetta Bread. I literally go here to buy that.Altho theres been a few times where it was undercooked and i had to cook it more when i got home cause the middle was a bit raw, i spoke to balery lady the other day and got a few fresh ones from her she had cooling down and they were PERFECT.

Great grocery store north of Huntsville. Bigger than it looks from the outside with pretty much anything you could need and quite a few unique items. Great store-made sausages and baked goods. Post office and LCBO on site.

More than a grocery store? I'd say. Not often that you can find a full-service grocery store, liquor store, post office and gas station all in one place. Look, the place isn't huge, but for the space it has, it packs a lot of just about everything in there. Fresh butcher? Check. Frozen food section? Check. Freshly baked items? Check. Fresh produce, snacks, kid and adult beverages, lotto? Check, check, check and check. Prices were certainly reasonable, and the staff and locals were very friendly to talk to. If you're in the area, chances are this will be your one-stop shop, even for uncommon items like gluten-free foods. We visited frequently on our stay in the area, and will be back again. Oh, and remember to bring your own reusable bags.

THE MEAT SECTION IS AMAZING!!!I live in Port Sydney and our little grocery store is terrible. Gouging prices, rotten food. It’s terrible.I literally can’t wait to have a call in Novar, so I can go to Hope’s and get some sausages, Gypsy steaks or whatever else they have.(DID I MENTION THEY HAVE SAMPLES!?)15/10 BEST GROCERY STORE EVER!

Amazing selection and very reasonable prices for an independent grocery store. One of the team members saw us viewing some items and recommended the Canadian made item recommendation. We got some grilling steaks from their fresh meat section, excellent taste and top quality meat for an awesome price.
