Could not recommend Black Flag highly enough. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The studio is very clean and well run. My piercings, done by Zache, turned out amazing! I would definitely come back for any piercings in the future.

I came to the shop in desperate need of help removing my forward helix piercing as I had a CT scan and couldn't remove them on my own. Hannah was so wonderful. She helped remove them, she explained the process the whole way through! She was gentle and it was painless considering I had been trying to get them out myself. Even when I went back to get them put back in she made the process painless and explained what she was doing each step of the way. I'll definitely be back to get more done and will take my daughter there for her first piercings. The shop is a lovely, relaxing & clean space. I highly recommend it and Hannah!!

It’s been a long time since I’ve been peirced. I had a dermal removed by Jesse a couple of years and really enjoyed my experience.Today my son had his ears peirced. I am blown away by the experience that was provided to my son. Jesse was upbeat and enthusiastic the entire appointment. He spoke with my son directly and walked him through every step of the way. My son was able to provide consent on his desicions all the way through.Jesse your passion for caring for your clients shines through. Your clean dirty protocol was hands down the best I’ve ever seen in a body modification environment.There is not enough words to describe how great this experience was. Your word of mount is phenomenal and it’s beyond well deserved!Will 1000/10 reccomend everytime hands down.

Jesse is the best around. Makes you feel comfortable and the place is super clean and sterile. Old school piercer and has lots of options for those that are unsure. Had experience with piercing all body parts and adding modifications. Highly recommend this place.My only negative comment is that Zash was going to kick out my in training dog because I gave him a bit of leniency in the front of the shop when I was talking to Jesse. Even after assurance I would keep him controlled, he still would not let it go. Dogs have to learn to. Maybe ask about the dog first next timeStill highly recommend and it was great to catch up with Jesse. Had not seen you in a few years. Congratulations on the new shop, it looks awesome

Phenomenal studio! Sammy and Britt are incredible people and extremely talented tattoo artists and I highly recommend! The shop itself is so cool and welcoming. as for the piercing, I have heard nothing but amazing things about everyone there:)

Black flag is absolutely amazing. The entire staff was warm, kind and welcoming. Their main focus was consent and were absolutely incredible with my shy five year old-they didn’t once doubt her interest in getting her ears pierced and explained the entire process in an age appropriate way! I live out of town and will proudly recommend this shop to both family on the island and locals here in Powell River willing river travel

I got my third lobe piercing from Zache and had such a great experience. Even though I’d assume it’s not the most exciting piercing for them zache still took so much time and effort to make me comfortable and have a good time. Everyone there was absolutely lovely!! Could not recommend more and would trust Zache with any piercings in the future. They also offer long term support with the piercings you get there which is great.

Jesse is amazing. Have brought several of my teens for piercings there. Have had jewelry changes there for myself. Easy online booking. Fantastic in-person service. Excellent selection and quality of jewelry. Will go back.
