King Edward Medical Center (NOT WALK IN clinic)

I am quite surprise about some of the review here about Dr. Ho. He has been our family doctor since 2014 when we came to Canada and I must say I am satisfied with his conduct and professional way of handling issues. The nurses and admin staffs are very polite as well. I will strongly recommend King Edward Medical Centre to anyone around the hospital. I must say even when we moved to Abbottsfield we still maintain him as our family doctor.

Dr. Heckman was very pleasant to talk to. He took over 15 minutes to talk to my husband and I and explained everything perfectly. The procedure itself was quick and relatively pain free especially compared to other gynecologist visits. I would have given 5 stars but the front desk staff can be hard to get a hold of over the phone and they don't have great customer service skills in person.

My last check up they wouldn't provide a paper gown and asked me to pull one leg out of my pants to complete the test. I'm not sure what's happening to Alberta's health care system but my Doctor's office is struggling to go beyond 10 minutes per appointment and the staff is so rushed they don't have time to do their job well.

Dr's are great but communication is horrible. My pregnant wife booked an appointment with her Dr online only to drive 30 mins to the clinic to be told her Dr isnt in the clinic. Poor client experience and should ensure if people can book online that their dr is actually available for the appointments booked.

Great reception, and I have personally had excellent experiences with the doctors. Relieved to have found it.

KING EDWARD medical center (counter staff, nurses ) are the best, truthy the best. They allow SMS , and also call back us when requested ! I really like this clinic except their doctors all gone, now changed few new doctors.They changed my Doctor from Dr Ho to Lantai Liu. My new family Lantai Liu is great, then she went to maternity leave and got replacement doctor Lisa Jin. Doctor Lisa is fantastic, and I had urine infection then to extremely back pain, Doctor Lisa Jin took immediate action, follow up with specialist, and sent me to do Ultrasound, CT Scan, and had day surgery all done in three weeks before both my kidney turn worst, she safe my life ! THANK YOU so much , you are the best Doctor Lisa Jin.The specialist (Dr. Heckman ) also the best ! The old doctor Dr HO just treat us like a number.. I agreed with the bad reviews from others.

The customer service at this clinic is the best I have ever received from a medical clinic. I can email them and they will respond within the hour and they actually answer my questions. They offer phone appointments so you don’t have to travel to the clinic just for a prescription refill or minor issue.I have been seeing Dr. Liu for a few years at a different clinic and she is by far the most accommodating, attentive doctor I have experienced.

Clinic was chill about me cancelling my original appointment at the last minute and let me reschedule without a fee. Dr. Seth Heckman is super nice, extremely knowledgeable and experienced, basically the perfect Dr. I definitely recommend him for anyone feeling iffy about seeing a male gynecologist.

Dr. Heckman is one of the best doctors I’ve ever seen. He was able to give me answers I’d been looking for for months, and sat down with me and explained everything in great detail. I had some questions following my initial appointment and was booked for a phone consultation and he again, answered my questions and eased my mind on all of my symptoms, and offered more than one solution. Couldn’t recommend him enough.

Doctors are professional. Receptionists are under a lot of stress and multi-tasking, please be patient with them.Dual languages onsite (English and Chinese)
