Activate Scarborough

My experience at this place was wonderful. I went for my friend's birthday and it was a blast. I never heard of this place and didn't know what to expect.So, Activate is an activity place that has 12 rooms of fun (some more fun than others). You must get in teams of a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 (per room).As you go in you will pay for your entry (which is quite cheap at $25.+tax), get a bracelet for a locker and one for signing into rooms for games and receive instructions on signing waiver/how to gain points/play.I suggest that you wear sneakers or comfortable closed toe shoes. My favourite rooms (Grid and Mega Grid) involved running.I didn't like how crowded space was because we had reservations and still had to wait on rooms because they were full. However, once team signs in then it will prompt team using room to finish up thwir round and come out.One of the gentlemen in the front was very kind and gave whole group water bottles even though that prize level was not quite reached.Lastly, my team of 4 friends was wonderful and out of our bigger group we were the only ones to make it to the board (board where they display higher scores). I would definitely go back. Perfect for double dates as well.

Such a fun place!! The staff are friendly and the process of getting started with the games is very smooth. My only small complaint is that the audio in each room needs to be louder since I missed the instructions sometimes. Make sure you bring a lot of energy and people you enjoy being with.

Instructions to start playing are very clear but some games take some time to learn. Aesthetic is very cool and the group swapping for different rooms happens with ease. Definitely reccomend experiencing

Activate is a fun interactive game for all ages. It was fast and the games were very creative. I will definitely go again. It took my breath away...literally a few times haha. Check them out!

I hate that I went to this place because I'm definitely going to blow more money on this facility. Super cool. My partner and friends enjoyed it and I like the variability of the games. Whether you're book smart or athletic, you'll find a game that fits to your strength. Definitely coming again, will skip the hiding game as I still have no idea how to do that room.

Absolutely loved it here! Amazing experience and worth every penny. Staff was friendly and the entire place was clean and tidy, including the washrooms. Vending machines with chips, candy and juices were a bit pricey but great selection. Can finally give Skyzone a break as this place is way cooler for now.

Went to this for a work team-building event many months ago. It was more fun than expected. Worked up a sweat. Plenty of parking. I would come back again during a less crowded time in order to wait for game rooms a little less. Overall a fun experience.

While I can say many things about how good this place is, I will be brief and simple.The $30 you spend here with your friends or loved ones will be one of the best $30 you will have spent in your life.For the meager price of $30, you can enjoy so many fun, unique, interesting, and team-building games.You will never regret coming here but you will be coming for more.

This was amazing. Went with 4 kids ranging from 11-16 and myself an adult. Was a great experience and all of us were able to participate and it wasn't too challenging. Lockers were free which was a great touch. Staff was great.
