Fabulous experience! This cozy restaurant has a charming ambience and the hosts are truly hospitable - they know what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, extensive wine list and delectable desserts! I look forward to visiting again.

Amazing. Went on a late night date night. Had a lovely patio table.The food was amazing ! The service though, was somehow even better. William was very attentive and accommodating and an absolute pleasure.Definitely looking forward to coming back !

Visited for the first time and loved the food. Patio is nice and in a quiet neighbourhood so definitely try that during summer. Inside decor is a bit outdated but its cozy. We tried pasta which we loved and the salad which was a good addition. Bread and butter is complimentary and the selection of wines are fine even though there are not so many options. Servers are attentive and nice and we enjoyed our experience.

Treated my wife for Mother's Day. The weather was great and we were able to sit outside on the upstairs patio. Our server made excellent suggestions and the kitchen did not disappoint!

I have a pretty high standards for Italian Restaurants and I’m glad to say Donatello’s did not disappoint. Quick, friendly service and good food.The decor may have been a little outdated but it felt homey. A nice family-owned type of atmosphere.The food itself was quite good. My mom and I went for a dinner a week or two ago and got the grilled goat cheese as an appetizer and it was phenomenal - never had anything quite like it.As for the mains, hers was much better than mine. She got the gnocci and it was soft and flavourful and exceeded expectations. I got the seafood pasta and it was good, don’t get me wrong it was tasty, but it was nothing special and not worth the 28 dollars. The oysters (or mussels? Or both? I cant remember) were very good but the sauce was missing something and the calamari was a little rubbery. Not bad but not great.Would definitely recommend if you are in the are and are looking for a nice restaurant for dinner.

This is my first time giving a 1 star review. It's really unfortunate that I am giving a low star review because of poor service rather than the quality of the food.This male server who had long hair seemed very unwelcoming from the beginning as I walked into the restaurant. I found a piece of hair in my tortellini and while other staff were understanding, he acted as if I was problematic. He did not apologize and simply took the other dish away from my table, saying he will give it back with the tortellini. When I finished my meal, he left the card machine on the table and just walked away to another table. My boyfriend had to deal with the copy of the receipt by himself and we walked ourselves out the door. And of course, he did not even ask if we enjoyed our meal.For a second, I thought about giving him no tip but I ended up leaving him 15%. He does not deserve it but I wasn't sure if other staff get a portion of the tip and I didn't want to put them at a place of disadvantage for something they had nothing to do with. Our dinner experience wasn't pleasant because of bad service and we couldn't stop wondering why we were treated so poorly compared to other tables where he was smiling, making conversations, and presenting himself in a lot more professional manner.

We opted this place to celebrate our first anniversary and was totally worth it! The food, the ambience, the drinks were too perfect and I would highly recommend to others. The food was delicious and served in right quantity. We ordered spicy shrimps, creamy sauce mushroom fettuccine with wine and we loved it. The service was great, appreciate their service.

Fantastic and quaint restaurant. Food was very flavourful and prepared with fresh ingredients.The hostess was very friendly and was able to get us a table on the upper patio, which overlooks Elm St.I was amazed how descriptive the waiter was with all dishes. Impeccable service.I had the seafood pasta, which was made fresh. My wife had a delicious caramelized salmon. All very reasonably priced.Ask about the daily specials.They have a huge wine list at reasonable prices.

We ordered the tortellini alla borina and the petto di pollo valdostana. I found the tortellini a little rubbery and in need of a lil more sauce. It was a good day for the outside patio which was preferred to the indoor ‘sopranos’ kind of vibe. Overall solid dishes.
