Sherbrooke Medical Clinic

I have only gone here when I can’t get into my regular Dr soon enough. It’s been half a dozen times over the years. There have been times where I’ve been there right when they opened and the Dr has strolled into the clinic, through the waiting area, passing all the people waiting 45 MINUTES AFTER OPENING. That is unacceptable. I have booked an appointment as well, hoping it would help save me waiting time but it hasn’t. I booked an appointment, and there was one other person waiting in the waiting room and was still not seen for over an hour after my appointment time. So don’t think that booking an appointment will save you from having to wait.

The waiting time is ridiculously long. I waited 50 minutes for my scheduled appointment and after I left without seeing a doctor. I am sure I would have waited longer if I stayed. I just didn't have time to wait any more. I do not understand appointment system if you have to wait for hours to see a doctor. when you are 15 minutes late for your appointment it got cancelled (I was 15 minutes early for my appt though).In general, docs are mediocre at this clinic. Front desk employees are not very helpful.hard to getCanadian health system in general is wrecked. Walk in clinics just add up to the entire healthcare mess.

Walk in's are treated more badly than people with appointments. The reviews below are valid(good and extreme bad). One Receptionist has very bad work ethic and manners. One Doctor was 10 mins late from open. Second Doctor came late at 1 hour & 15min late. 15 mins late to his first appointment booked for him. Only good thing was one good receptionist keeping things flowing. The clinic needs proper management and Doctors to care. 1 hour wait and counting .... Only hope the actual visit with Doctor has merit.

I’ve been going to Sherbrooke medical for over 5 years. I’m so frustrated with how long I’m placed on hold when trying to call for an appointment. For instance, I’m placed on a 10+ minute hold every time I call. There are so many inefficiencies that could be easily addressed to improve this situation without hiring additional staff (i.e., online booking, ability to leave a message for callback, etc.).With a booked appointment I’m waiting over an hour to see the doctor every time. There’s a lack of respect for patients and their time.More recently I felt that the care I received wasn’t thorough. The correct tests weren’t ordered and I’ve been struggling with my issue over a year. I’m so disappointed.There’s also no follow up on results, you’ll have to call yourself… if you can get through to the front desk.I’m going to investigate other options, as I’ve reached my breaking point. I hope management makes some meaningful changes, as this clinic continues to deteriorate.

Wait time is over an hour and the staff do not listen. When I try tell them clearly they start telling me to be nice. English is not their forte. Now I will be looking for another Doctor but one who grasps the English language.

I heard that Dr Fours is a great doctor, and was told he was taking new patients. I called and said I was a new patient and wanted to book with him, was cut off a million times by the receptionist who was incredibly rude. Once I tried to book a day I finally was told when I went to give my name that he isn’t taking new patients. You should really hire people who can politely answer the phone and speak to people. We all get busy but seriously I couldn’t believe how rude she was.

Sherbrooke has been my Medical Clinic for the last number of years. Recently I had a complete medical including blood work, ECG, heart ultrasound etc. supposedly everything was good? When I went back in and complained of chest pains etc they were suppose to arrange a Cardiac Specialist? Two weeks later and still no phone call. In the meantime I had a massive heart attack and am scheduled for a triple bypass. Nice work Sherbrooke Medical Clinic. I understand now why they hv such a low rating and I’ll be living on medication and a big scar on my chest. Time to find a new Clinic and Doctor.

A good clinic if you don't mind waiting hours and hours to see the Dr. very dissapointed today I waited 3 hours to see my blood work. A little more care for your patients would be appreciated.

DO NOT EVER GO HERE IF YOU NEED MEDICAL ATTENTION FOR YOUR CHILD. THE RECEPTIONIST WORKING ON MAR 18 SHIFT IS ABSOLUTELY RUDE AND NOT AT ALL CARING. SHE PLACED MY CALL OM HOLD FOR 5 TIMES AND KEPT DISCONNECTING SO I WONT CALL BACK. I UNDERSTAND THEY ARE BUSY AND I WORK AT THE RECEPTION TOO. BUT YOU NEVER EVER DISCONNECT CLIENT CALLS. THAT'S JUST OUTRIGHT OUTRAGEOUS. DO NOT CALL OR GO HERE. THIS PLACE NEEDS AN INSPECTION OR SOME SORT OF GOVERNMENT INTERFACE.
