Easily the best Mexican restaurant in Ottawa. Food has great flavour and spice, everything was very tasty. I recommend the Enchiladas Verde. Mole was alright, not great.

A good place for Mexican food, the customer service is very good, food tastes was average. I might try something else. I didn’t like ENCHILADAS that much. It costs $20, so the price I felt a bit higher side, generally the price was around $14.But for the good customer service I am giving 4 stars.

The food is tasty, the service is great but zero atmosphere. Consider painting the walls red, add color by incorporating wall art, sombreros and other Mexican flair. Visit La Bonita restaurant or the Mexican restaurant on rue Principal in Aylmer for inspiration. Create an atmosphere means creating an experience and ensuring returning guests. A small investment for a great return!

Food is so so tasty you must try! Portions are not too big. I had the Enchiladas de mole and my friend got the Chilaquiles. We shared (4 people) the chips (nachos) with guacamole and cheese and the tortillas (chips) are 2 color freshly made light and crunchy, just perfect.

We went there for dinner on a Monday.It's a great little place that's super cozy. The service was excellent, and the food was even better! We've been looking for a good place for Mexican food, and we're so happy to have found Chilaquiles!We ordered chips and guac, tacos and quesadillas and they were all fantastic. The carnitas were amazing, the chicken was flavorful. The margaritas were fantastic!We will be going there again!

BEST Mexican food in Ottawa, hands down ! My dad and I dined in last night. My veggie tacos were so tasty! Service was also amazing. Really glad there’s a bigger inside space to eat now, however, it was quite loud in there because there was a lot of people and kids so it was hard to hear server, etc. Highly recommend this place ! Will always come back. ❤️

Food was not bad, though portions could definitely be bigger. They mixed me up a nice chelada. Service was very good, very pleasant young lady. The restaurant did get almost too loud to talk; some acoustical tiles would likely help.

It was good overall! I've decided to go there for my birthday. I was disappointment they recently moved out and no pretty decoration in the restaurant. Restaurant was also empty, it was wierd we were the only costumers. But food and service are the most important.There was a confusion in the bills about the nachos. My mom had like 18$ and my brother 8$ to split nachos when it wasn't supposed be split. Except for that, everything was yummy!

I dont normally review but this meal was too satisfying to not. You will not be disappointed. I had the Burrito Verde with the pulled chicken (but i asked for both red and green salsas) everything was prepared to perfection, even the chips and salad that came with it. I've had this meal twice now because it was so good but I should venture and try the other menu items next time. They also do proper vegetarian protein options - very well seasoned!

Soups and tacos were good. The new space needs some livening up, it feels institutional. A good, local restaurant.
