Friendly Dollar & Discount

I love how ppl have commented saying it's not a dollar store. Idk. I go in there and use a few dollars for purchasing items. I didn't realize that they took any other form of currency. What do these ppl pay with? Seeds? Gold rings? BEANS?!?!???They have a good selection of products. The store is clean and has good staff. You may have to pay a few extra dollars here or there, but it can be worth it.

I like the selection and mostly the staff are helpful and friendly. But today the woman behind the cash was a tad gruff, which is still fine. BUT when we got home the 7 glass votives that we purchased were now 5 as she hadn’t wrapped them at all. They were just dropped into a plastic bag and two were completely broken and unusable. And the two gift bags that she had shoved into the same bag were folded in half, not rolled or curved. Now they have fold lines in the middle of the picture on the bag and are also unusable. AND we drove 45 minutes from north of Catchacoma to shop there today for our Thanksgiving celebration tomorrow. So thanks loads grumpy lady. And Happy Thanksgiving to you.

Has a variety of stuff

Quite a helpful store but few things are in the dollar" range. Think more in terms of a discount store and your purchases may be $3

Good selection of items ( hardware to crafts etc..) The store is not really a dollar store as most things are above 2 and 3 dollars. The store is in a good location in lakefield and its convenient if you forgot clothespins or dish soap while on vacation at a cottage

I absolutely love this store and I go in at least twice a week sometimes more. However today I went in to buy 3 packs of pokemon cards for my fiance as they were popular when he was a kid and he's starting to collect them again. When I went up to the front counter the lady that cashed me out was kinda rude and very judgmental. She looked at me when I grabbed the 3 packs and said and I quote you know they are $7.99 a pack right?" I was taken back a little bit because Ive been in their before with and without my fiance and bought them without anyone being rude. I was polite and just simply said to her "ya I know. My fiance wants them because he's collecting them again. He's a big kid at heart." And she responded with a rude "oh okay". She was also talking to me like I was a child and I don't know if that's simply because I rode a bicycle there and was wearing my helmet but I am 21 years old so there was really no need for her to speak to me like that or judge how much I was spending on a hobby that makes my fiance happy. I was just taken back by this is all. Normally I have a great experience and all the other staff members are super friendly and helpful ☺️ I honestly sometimes could easily browse the store for an hour or more."

Lots of different things you can get here at reasonable prices and the staff are really friendly. Always so nice to stop in as you're always greeted with a smile.
