I had this traffic violation with both fine and 2 demerit points. Silvat herself helped me and took care of everything for me. From dealing with insurance to managing court. It took 2 yrs to get a trial date due to pandemic and on the hearing, she got rid of both fine and demerit points. The whole charge was withdrawn in a single trial. I had Silvat represent us at a LTB hearing. From my first consult to finally getting a favorable eviction judgement Silvat was a true professional, very knowledgeable and handled the case very well. I did virtually attend the video conference hearing on our eviction case and did see many other paralegals and lawyers present their cases to the Chair person. Some of them were so unprofessional and did not know how to present their case or answer a simple question raised by the Chair. When it was our case that came up Silvat handled it very very professionally and i was very impressed. She answered all the questions properly, had provided all the proper documentation with accurate calculations on rent owed by the tenant and it was an Open and Shut case for the Chair person to issue the eviction order .This has been my first experience at the LTB and i hope it is my last. We are new to LTB matters and were very stressed because we are small investors who have put in our hard money in a investment rental property. We didn't receive rent for a year, we had so many questions on procedures and processes and i have on numerous occasions called Silvat to ask for answers. Every time I called Silvat, she always answered all my questions, she never rushed thru the phone call and always provided the right advice that made me feel at ease.
