Turtledoves Bakery
One of the better GF bakeries. I have been GF for 12 years and have lived in different parts of the US and Canada - I have sampled my share of GF products!! Hands down, the best GF baguette I have tried. They make the best ever French toast once a tad stale!!! The other products are good as well. The baker has definitely played with flour combinations - you can tell in all baked goods which makes up for the seasoning which can lean to bland for my palate. I do like salt. I can't speak on service because I'm there with purpose. I've had efficient interactions - I did open the fridge once in the lobby - don't do that. There's a sign there that I missed as i drooled over its contents. I did feel like a 5 year old with her hand in the cookie jar getting scorned by my grandmother. lol Overall, my top 10 GF products in southern ontario.

Great tasting 100% gluten free bakery, serving staple breads, buns, baguettes, and delicious baked goods/ pastries, cakes, cupcakes, muffins. They even have soups, Jamaican patties, sausage rolls for a quick lunch.

Great staff, great food. I'm not the gluten free one in the family and I still think most of what they offer here is better than even standard fare from any grocery store. If you are looking for tasty gluten free food this is the place to be.

Turtledoves Bakery
Stopped by Turtledoves Bakery for the first time and had a great experience. I was welcomed into the store with smiling faces and was amazed at the selection available. Many people in my life can't eat gluten so I am happy to have found a good gluten free bakery to bring those people something to sweeten their day.

I just recently received a diagnosis of Celiac Disease. Since I love bread, this was rather devastating. I am so thankful to have found Turtledoves Bakery. The products are gorgeous and the people are lovely. There is something for everyone and the prices are very reasonable. The Cinnamon Raisin Bread has become a staple in our house.

Turtledoves Bakery
I wanted to love this local bakery, but found it was a let-down. I bought 2 chicken pies for my son and I. They were reasonably priced ($7.50 each), but came with no cooking instructions. I placed them in the oven @ 400 for 30 mins - which did the trick. They cooked up nicely but tasted so incredibly bland. I had to add a ton of salt to make them taste like something. I didn't get any sweets - maybe they're more known for those. Based on what I bought, I don't think I'll be coming back.

Very disappointed with our order for a wedding cake.. All we asked for was a simple 2-tier *white* wedding cake that we were going to decorate with flowers. We also sent them photos of what we wanted, which was a simple 2-tier *white* wedding cake and they said it would be no problem to make. What we ended up getting from them was a dark brown cake... who wants an ugly brown cake for their wedding? Sadly it also tasted like the cheap cake mix you get from Walmart and I had requested the cake to be less sweet but it was shockingly sugary. I could have overlooked the taste but at least make it look like what we requested or don't accept the order next time.

Turtledoves Bakery
I picked up my pies for Thanksgiving weekend today and on a whim purchased some dinner rolls. They looked so good that I couldn't resist trying one. It was sooo good. I'll have a hard time not eating them all before Thanksgiving! You can't tell they are gluten free. I also recently discovered their cherry pie. The filling is just like my mom made! Highly recommend this bakery.

Turtledoves Bakery
Turtledoves bread is so fantastic that my mother prefers it to anything she gets from her go-to shop in London. I've been delivering Turtledoves cheese bread to London for years. Such a friendly welcoming place. The shop is very happy to accept pre-orders by phone which I am always sure to do because the cheese bread is greatly in demand.
