I want to start by saying that I cannot say enough good things about this company and their people. When we discovered we were in need of a stair lift we contacted a number of companies, with no luck of installation in less than 4 weeks. When we contacted Melanie she understood what we needed and how time was of the essence. Melanie spent a lot of her personal time on a Wednesday evening seeing what she could do for us. Believe it or not by Thursday the next day we had a stair lift installed. And if I thought Melanie was unbelievable then wait until you hear about John the installer. John is a decent down to earth guy who could empathize with our circumstances. He was tidy, definitely knew what he was doing and was great with my parents. We even had a slight problem, not their fault, and Melanie and John worked to rectify it fast. John came out on the weekend and fixed our issue very quickly. That is what I call service. I can't thank them enough, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Andrew and his crew have been looking after my residential elevator for many years now. Professional, highly responsive. I was able to get two chair lifts within less than a week from ordering them. Great after sale customer service as well! Got the chair lifts disassembled and moved with ease. Everything through phone calls. Would highly recommend them.

We followed up on a recommendatiion and received a reply with quick response to the house to assess the stairs to be serviced with a lift. A few days later the installer appeared with the new equipment and the knowledge to completely install the stairlift in slightly more than one hour. Magnificent! Now my wife can get out to her appointments without me having to carry her up or down the stairs. What a blessing for my wife. We are purchasing a home with an existing Garaventa lift installed. I contacted Uppercut mid day Saturday and spoke with Andrew - After getting over my initial shock that an elevator company answered the phone on a saturday I was able to ask the questions i needed and get an inspection booked. Their tech showed up on time and did a hands on review and inspection of the lift.Huge Thank you to Andrew and Dwayne for helping us out on short notice, knowing Uppercut offers service this good puts me at ease owning a home with an Elevator.Would highly recommend!

I use Google reviews to do research for everything I buy and everyone I hire and this is my way of ‘paying it forward’.So a senior family member suffered a fall and months later was cleared to return home from the hospital. We needed to facilitate the return by making the home easier to navigate which among other things required the installation of a stair lift chair.We researched brands and got quotes from several companies but the costs were incredibly high - in the thousands. In our research we also became aware of numerous chair lifts for sale on Kijiji and Facebook that were reasonably priced and in particular the one we purchased was a Bruno chair that was like new only a couple of years old and cost us 750 dollars.We realized that many lift chair users operated them for relatively short periods of time and because of a change in needs or more unfortunate reasons the family was stuck with a chair lift they no longer needed or wanted in the home.They were also stuck with a five or ten thousand dollar or more installation with little hope of recovering even a small percentage of the investment.And the reason for this? Greedy local supply and installation companies who have no problem charging a ton but are less helpful in helping in the recovery of costs. In other words no problem with any of us finding a new/used chair lift but good luck in finding a reputable installer to put it in your house and doing so properly and teaching you how to use it.It’s like jewelry. Buy expensive but sell according to weight never mind getting what the stones are worth. In short it’s like a monopoly - businesses not wanting to help so you have no choice but to buy new and spend big. I even contacted a company who installed this Bruno chair I bought and they refused to call me back even after several requests.BUT then I found Uppercut Elevators and Lifts. Thank God.From the first call to business owner Andrew to my complete and utter relief he seemed to care about me and our situation. He agreed to help by providing service to remove the chair from where I bought it, check all equipment to make sure it was as good as new and then install it all for a very reasonable fee.And on several calls where I needed to know trade information like what was the best brand and how long the rail should be he answered every question with knowledge, patience and kindness.When the time came he also sent Steve who was a great guy himself to the house to make sure everything was right for a ‘seamless’ as Andrew put it installation with no issues or surprises.When the day came they picked up the chair which apparently took 2 1/2 hours to disassemble and shortly after that installed it without any issues. They left behind a spare battery and provided full instruction and peace of mind for our family member.Sorry for the length of this but without painting a proper picture one could never appreciate this company and the people associated to it as much as we do.For the record they also related we could call them for any operational issues going forward.We literally saved thousands and got a product and service we can count on and all is because of Andrew and his vision on how a company should be run and based on and that is care and respect and not greed.So if you want to do as we did or even buy new go with Uppercut Elevators and Lifts.
