Kestrel Court (R4) (Fanshawe College)

Exactly what you would expect from student housing. On the tours they look cleaned up and in reasonably good condition. Revisit any suite a few weeks and there's going to be quite a change.

I loved the ambience! Not your regular idea or student accommodation.

Great place to waste 7,650 dollars on if you like dirty housing and bad plumbing. Also good luck getting in touch with maintenance, they never respond. Had to pay $30 just to get drain weasel to snake out the drains which were full of calcium from urine and hair. Just put your money else where.

A great place for accommodation.... however the room size is pretty small but other facilities are great.

Sick and tired of living with 5 other ppl in a small house. Rip off price and have to pay extra for staying in christmas. Nice security doe.

Highly no recommend for this Residence, the staffs are very careless, they keep forgetting their routine work and one of the most irritated issue is: they dont send an email to inform the students here whenevee they have packages delivered, which is definitely their work, and also blame the students for their mistakes.

Arguably the best residence option offered. Tons of living space, doesn’t feel as crowded and claustrophobic as apartment-style residence.Its a quick 3 minute walk from the school and a 15 minute walk from the grocery store. It has a fairly large kitchen, with a large fridge with lots of shelf space and a giant chest freezer. Laundry unit was straightforward and contained enough washers/dryers that you will rarely ever have to wait for one to become available. The openness of the units really made it feel warm and inviting, and the porches in the back make for excellent spots to chat up your neighbours. The beds are large enough to squeeze five or six people on (which is useful for RuPaul’s Drag Race and Riverdale binges with your housemates). The yards behind the houses also make for great slip-and-slide spots if you’re brave enough. I would highly recommend Kestrel Court to any incoming or upperclass students at Fanshawe.

Decent option for student housing, ran by the college so it's in reasonably decent shape. High tension wires overhead mess with GPS on some phones, saying your in Texas or something.

Love everything about it here :) bed here is bigger than the one I have at home. Basement is super cold in the mornings though
