We have been ice skating and roller skating here. Amazing environment for both. Though I favour the summer rollerskating. Fri and Sat they nights they have a Dj in summer. So much fun!

Skates were dull and had to go a size down because it was very busy but aside from that it was a great family experience! And great for the kids to get out and experience canadian traditions. Also a plus was Theodore too tug boat!

Great place for the family to have a fun skate. The ice was a little wonky in places but still easy to skate. And it's free unless you have to rent skates.

WowHamilton has really done a great job cleaning up the water front for the general public. Nice work.Roller Skating is free if you have your own skates. Get out and enjoy the nice weather. Winter will be back sooner than you want!

Sooo cool & so close! Large outdoor skating rink with rentals and seating available. Next door to the coffee house for post espresso or hot chocolate for the kids! Well maintained and impressively large outdoor rink. And plenty of free parking on site. Lace up & enjoy!!!

Beautiful place, well maintained and has both skate rental service and an indoor area to keep warm. Also a cafe if you want to get food or a warm beverage.

Outdoor Skating Rink at Pier 8
Lots of fun to be had here. There’s classic music spun by a DJ at the rink in the evening twice a week to enjoy while you skate. You can go have a beverage and a meal at Williams Cafe or ice cream at the ice cream parlour. There’s also a snack bar to enjoy some treats. Roller skate rental is available for a small cost. On the busy nights there’s someone on the rink to ensure people stay safe and don’t act reckless.

I would have given it a 5 star if the ice was cleaned and not so chippy. I gave it a 4 star because the benches, seats, indoor seats and lights were so nice. The best part was skating along the waterfront view!

Family skate. Very cold but awesome time. One washroom open a little messy. Need cash for William's cafe or snacks. Limited choices. Zamboni clears off ice. People are respectful. Bags are keep outside by picnic tables. 120 people limit. Will go again. Dress warm.
