Nice building with a variety of events and amenities for residents. We are movers and it is a pleasure moving residents in.

I visit my mother and in-law. The place is clean, friendly and both families are very happy there. This has less stress on the extended families. I do recommend this place to anyone. Let's not forget the excellent menu and portions.

My father has lived at the Terra Losa site for close to 4 years and has really enjoyed the friendliness of most of the nursing staff that assist him everyday. They are like family for him.He has had some bad experiences though with the HVAC systems; no AC for days in late June 2022. Family had to rescue him from the extreme and dangerous heat by removing him from the building. No heat in another suite he moved into for weeks in late Fall 2022. Furnace had to be repaired and he was not provided with supplemental heat by management or temporary warm place to live before repairs were done. Son asked management for discount of rent for non-adherence to lease agreement and was refused. Keep in touch with your loved one because they may be suffering in the cold or heat at this place!

The appartments are spacious, and the medical help is on site and very good with the residents

My mom lives here and the staff are very courteous and polite whenever I visit.

The site where my mother resided was the Schonsee location however I have had to deal with head office as well. What a total nightmare. I would never recommend any of their establishments to anyone.There is no accountability. November 8th I made my 1st request for documentation on my mothers, behaviours, general discomforts, pain levels, sleeping and eating habits. I requested this documentation because after a 10 day isolation period and me not seeing her in person for almost 3 weeks she was not able to lift her neck from her chin, she looked like she lost 10lbs, and was in a lot of pain. I have since made multiple requests and have not received any information.Well at the hospital she was given a weekend pass. I brought her there on a Saturday she was so happy and relaxed to be back at her home. The staff told me she was not allowed there. They even sent me an official letter banning her from the site even under my care. However they still expected rent.From August 31st - December 20th the staff left 20L toxic waste pails in her room. They never followed any of the waste disposal policy’s. The pails were not even properly sealed.I also found a single pill on her floor. I can only imagine what would have happened if my toddler found it 1st.I completed a move out inspection with a staff member from the site. The entire sheet was marked in excellent condition. The staff then sent it to head office, where they took off charges from the damage deposit for painting, cleaning and disinfecting, carpets. Head office had never stepped foot into the room.After sending multiple emails, outlining everything I have now received an email from their lawyer threatening me with defamation because of my reviews.

Staff are friendly and helpful. I'm not sure the level of care the seniors receive here. My uncle's place is not clean including his carpet. He receives house keeping once a week, therefore I would expect his floors to be cleaned.

Agree with the other reviewer about this place being dirty. Moving my Dad from another place because he likes the west end of the city. Hard sales job. Uninterested staff. Could definitely use a refresh. Very dated decor. Interview happening right in the lobby as we were waiting. The person doing the interview kept going on about how she is only in this job because of her connections. Crazy. I mentioned it to the person doing our tour and she just shrugged her shoulders. Avoid. Only plus is Good location (bus stop in front) and Safeway nearby and a shoppers drug mart.

Great staff, great food 4 week menu nice verity.
