I am very disappointed in this business and their customer service. It was my first visit and I specifically asked for a diagnostic appointment only, and stressed that nothing was to be fixed. They told me it was $85 and booked the appointment.I dropped my car off in the morning and got a call in the afternoon that it was ready to be picked up. When I arrived I was told a much larger amount was to be paid. At this point, I wasn’t even informed of what the issue was. They had gone ahead and replaced the broken part without letting me know what the issue was or the cost for replacement. Although I only asked for a diagnostic, regardless, I never gave my consent to go ahead with the replacement, especially unaware of what the issue was or how much it would cost me. I wasn’t offered any reimbursement for the error they had made, but was offered only to put my old broken parts back into my car. As a result, I will never go here again and highly do not recommend this business to anyone I know or for those reading this.

I would not recommend this shop. I took my car there when I was having oil pressure problems and 3 engine lights came on. I was told the oil pressure was fine it was just a sensor that needed to be replaced and there was just dirt around the engine sensors. A day or two later my car broke down. I was told about five engine parts needed to be replaced which would cost me between $3000-$5000! Funny that one of the engine parts that broke was the camshaft and the camshaft engine light was on before. I decided to get a quote from another mechanic as well. As soon as I described what had happened he said he knew exactly what happened and that it was a common problem with my car and he could have saved me thousands of dollars. But the damage had been done at this point. I got this other mechanic to replace the entire engine and he confirmed that what he thought was wrong with my car in the beginning was correct. I also had recently got an oil change at edge and they didn’t secure a part underneath my car and it was hanging below my car. I will never ever go back to edge and HIGHLY suggest you don’t go there ether!!!!!!!

Having Parkinson's sucks because it is hard to do even the simplest of tasks, but having Jim and his crew down at Edge Automotive is a Godsend. Very reasonable and honest service and always a great experience in getting issues with our cars taken care of. A call from Cheryl is always a joy as her cheerful voice helps to cushion the reality of Automotive care expenses.

Took a day off work and they did all the work I needed in a few hours and all in cost less than half of quote I was given by ripoff garage in Waterloo that would have needed two days. Also, OPP bring their vehicles in for service here so that's a good endorsement. Great people here.

Can't recommend Edge automotive enough. We have been going there for around two years and had an excellent experience.Reasonable rates and really good service.

Had the most wonderful experience here! I am from out of town and was visiting family and my car started making a strange noise. I desperately called the Edge automotive at 4 pm knowing they close at 5 pm, hoping they could fix my vehicle before they close. Sure enough, they were able to fit me in and quickly fix the problem. I am so grateful. They are truely an amazing team.

Hands down the best place I’ve ever been for auto service. Super friendly staff fast and very efficient. Cost friendly. I had an incident where my brakes all of sudden weren’t working and I called then and within less then an hour they had it all fixed at minimal charge. Fantastic place I will be returning if I need further work done.

So thankful for Edge for helping me with a tow and replacing my battery when my car died downtown Listowel. Truly lifesavers! 10/10 recommend!
