Quarter Valley is a great environment that immediately welcomes you and makes you feel like you are part of the family. I started as a beginner simply wanting to learn to ride and found my passion for horses here! I've learned so much here and I know my horse is always well taken care of when I leave. The people I've met here are definitely lifetime friends. :)

Very nice people! The barn is clean and the horses are very well cared for. A very welcoming environment for both English and western riders. The owners accommodate you and make you feel as if you and your horse are part of the family. I 100% recommend!

Was looking to take horse riding classes. Left a message for the stable. Got a call back from a person by the name of Rai. He was so rude and inflexible. I told him that the price per class was higher than what most places were asking.He said that’s right please go to another place. He said that they expected people to take 4 classes in a month to which I replied that I wouldn’t be able to handle that due to my travelling schedule and work. Just had a horrible experience on dealing with this person, would not suggest this place to anyone.

Everything was great at the beginning, great staff, great ambiance. Over time I felt like I was no longer welcomed. The price kept on getting higher and higher every 3 to 6 months meant a new price increase. There was also a huge increase in traffic and lessons. The place went from a quiet facility with great care, to a full on schooling barn with lots of traffic, lots of horses… Between the show horses and the school horses only a few of us were boarders and for that it seems we were deemed to receive second class service.The thing that really disappointed me was the lack of care my horse received during COVID. During the shut we weren’t allowed to visit my horse at all and we were promised that our horses would be taken care of. Well apparently the care wasn’t there and during those 3 months where it was kept in the same stable sheet and tail bag. The results were disastrous to my horse’s health . The poor horse lost ½ of her tail due to the fact that the tail bag had not been removed in those 3 months. The sheet that my horse was wearing was so full of filth, urine and feces that it was holding itself all in one hard piece and causing some major skin damage to my horse.  Not without mentioning that her hooves weren’t picked the way they are supposed to as my horse had a level of thrush that would make anyone gag. It took me a whole 10 months to get my horse back on track health wise, with vet care, medication and stable rest.

I really like this barn. The atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming. If you like horses, you are welcome here :) The lessons are great. They really want to teach you all about horses and how to communicate with them. And their large indoor arena is awesome for riding in any season.

Previous border: We left because of the price-gouging for less and less arena availability, and are much happier at our new barn. There is better in the area, especially for thoroughbred riders. Last December, Ray paid my girlfriend less than minimum wage to work at the barn when we were struggling to pay his gouging board price. 50 horses on 5 acres of paddock.

I cannot say enough good things about Ray and his team. They are professional and kind and ethical. Animal welfare is top of the class. They keep a very clean and safe environment. If you love horses, come here.

We were among the first customers to board here, when they opened in 2018. (Note that all of the reviews for this barn that are older than 2 years old, as of June 2020, are for the previous Brampton location. Also, Theresa, Elisa, Pia, Sarah and Sasha all work at this barn and gave it 5-star reviews.)We put up for far too long with the growing disappointment that we had with the managers. We didn't know how many better options there were, a bit further from home - options that even cost less to board, with more perks and less traffic. The managers and workers are nice, though their business practices were a disappointment. Boarders are more snobby than sociable, which is obviously not the responsibility of management.When we moved in/the King location opened (Spring 2018), they took great care of our horses' stalls, the price was reasonable for the age of this barn ($675+tax) and there were little to no lessons being taught. As time went on from when the business opened and we moved in, shavings were significantly less, the arena was commonly occupied for lessons (no schedule available online or by email).This summer's rent is already at $900 + tax. This barn justifies its price with its reputation and success at competitions, where they win even more money. If only they had a better business ethic with their price-point, and in caring for the horses during COVID. They take us for such fools as to use one of the oldest scams and think we won't dig and uncover their poor business ethic - that they tell everyone they're paying the lowest price, when raising their rent, when in fact, everyone is paying the same rate.Many horses have thrush in their hooves, post-covid, from not being sufficiently cleaned, and stable sheets were used throughout the lock-down, while saturated of urine and feces. We were never asked if we wanted to pay for sheets to be washed throughout the entire lock-down.

Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming. They have so much knowledge about horses that they want to share. The barn is always clean and the horses are so well taken care of.

We love Quarter Valley Stables. We are always greeted with smiles from all of the staff and trainers. We were immediately made to feel like family when we arrived. It is very clear that every member of the team that works at Quarter Valley is incredibly passionate about horses and the industry. The Barn itself and stalls are all very well maintained as well as the outlying areas and paddocks. It is clear when you walk through the barn and interact with the horses that they are very well cared for. I will definitely recommend Quarter Valley to our friends as and Family.
