Had a G4S employee blow by me doing about 70km/h on King St. in front of the hospital. If you're wondering how they managed that without a passing lane, they just swerved into the oncoming lane (I was doing 50 at the time). Ended up behind the same car (car # SC1526 if anyone from G4S actually gives a damn) at King and Sir John A. where they sped right through a red light.Tried several times to call in a report during posted office hours but was continually greeted by a message stating the office was closed.

My son's car was towed by a G4S patrol staff at Visitor Parking in a townhouse complex in Kingston on February 3, 2019 and my son didn't notice it until he went to pick up my car in the evening of February 3, 2019. He didn't even know if his car was towed or stolen as there was no notification to us. As there is no sign of the patrol company or the towing company in the site, he didn't know who he could reach to get back his car until I called the property management company on February 4. My son was so frustrated about missing his car as he is studying in the Royal Military College and he needed to get back to the College by 1930 on February 3 and he is not flexible to go out during the weekdays. On the next day, the property manager told me that the patrol company, G4S, was the one who decided to ticket or tow the car. Even though my son has violated the parking rules, the G4S patrol staff has never given warning or ticket to us but arranged towing in the first place and I don't think it's the appropriate or general practice in this kind of service. However, the fact is that my son didn't violate any of the parking rules as he is living in the campus of Royal Military College, he is not a full time or part time resident in the townhouse complex. He visits me when he is granted to leave the College so he is a visitor who is entitled to park in the visitor parking. The towing of my son's car has caused him a lot of troubles and inconvenience as well as a towing charge of $355.95 and a parking ticket of $20 from City of Kingston. As there is no sign for the patrol company's or towing company's contacts in the parking site, we could not get back the car on the same day and resulted in a storage fee for $120. The battery of my son's car has gone dead after 2 day's storage.I believe all the above actions by G4S are unreasonable and unacceptable. Tried to call their office in Kingston many times but there was always voice mail. I really want to know the guidelines for towing and ticketing by G4S.

This past January, I decided to hire G4S Secure Solutions as security for our annual Semi-Formal event.First off, getting ahold of anyone was difficult due to their automated phone system and the fact that the phone number is not local but national. Even when I called during the hours they advertised as being open, they never answered.I ended up leaving a voicemail and got a call the following day. Booking the service was fairly easy and G4S was able to accommodate the needs for our specific venue and number of guests. Once everything was discussed, they sent us an email with the contract that we signed, scanned and emailed back. The day of the event, the security guards arrived early and were extremely professional. They asked what the entrances, exits and important areas were and were able to provide some of their expertise as well without overstepping. The event went off without a hitch. After the event, I checked my email address regularly since I was expecting an invoice but it never came. 6 months later, I get an email from someone who had received the invoice and had finally managed to track me down. They forwarded me the invoice and said that G4S was threatening legal action for the unpaid invoice. Upon looking at the invoice, I realized that my organization’s name, my name, my email address and billing address were wrong yet they were all stated correctly in contract. The fact that the invoice was sent to the wrong organization was completely embarrassing. In addition, I couldn’t believe they had the audacity to threaten legal action.Overall, G4S provided great service at the actual event but their administrative and accounting deficiencies will prevent me from using their services any further.
