The Pattie House Smokin' BBQ
1st time coming here after wanting to for some time. We ate on the patio which was severely neglected and in need of some tlc. From what I understand it used to be quite the popular spot. The food saved the review from being worse. Everything we had was cooked well and was filling and tasty, especially the tall cans of bud light. As with most places it was short staffed so service was slow. I'd eat there again.

So we’ve been to this place a few times over the years.. always seems to be a different menu and maybe different owners.In any case, we were there this past weekend. Wasn’t busy - maybe 10 patrons in the place. Looked like there were about 4 people working the dining area.The place needs a makeover and renovation. It’s very tired looking. No “ambiance”. Layout is really odd. From what I recall it has a huge patio area, but from other posts, it seems that’s in need of repair as well. The whole place is just “blah”.We were seated quickly, but then waited maybe 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order. Drinks came quickly, and we ordered food. The menu is pretty good. Lots of selection with a bunch of salads as well, for a change,.It was about 45 minutes before the food showed up, which seemed really long based on the number of people in the place. Food was tasty. Decent portions. Service was friendly, etc, although sporadic with the attentiveness for a place that wasn’t that busy.Washroom was kinda grungy.. and if that’s dirty, then I really don’t want to know what the kitchen looks like.Anyway, I think the new owners could do more with that place. It’s almost like it’s too big - too much open space.

My friends and I are have always lived in the area and have been coming here for years. Last time I was there I had cheesecake for dessert that had gone bad but we went again hoping it had improved. It was not the case, we waited over an hour and a half for our food, the girl serving us said they were understaffed and falling behind but stood and talked with tables for 10 minutes whilst other diners had been seated for 30 minutes and not even had drink orders taken. The burgers came out like hockey pucks they were so bad. The Mac and cheese was stone cold. Also to top it all off the new owner is out chatting with customers and meanwhile his washrooms are absolutely disgusting. If it was supposed to be a dive bar it’d be alright but for the price of the food it was terrible. We’ll come back when there’s new owners again.

Amazing food! Fries and gravy, incredible.The grilled cheese burger (Colby) is beyond expectation, bobcaygeon IPA - wonderful beer too.From being out of town - Guelph, this is an amazing stop to hit up! 100/10 would recommend.Service was quick, friendly and perfect! Thank goodness for a wonderful place, definitely stop by if you’re coming through!!

Friendly staff, same atmosphere I remember, but the food (burger and rings) was only so-so. Put it down to coming in just before closing. Also, for a place that advertises itself as a BBQ joint, there weren't many BBQ options.

Amazing new management with great fresh ideas. Trivia night is a blast. Looking forward to a fun summer at the Pattie House. Try the new butter chicken poutine!EDIT: Since my review the building owners decided to give the previous management, who were breathing new life into the establishment, the shaft. No more trivia night either. That fun summer at the Pattie House we were all looking forward to seems to have vanished now.

Ok please change your hours !!Who closes Thursday at 7 your a restaurant!!! ? Most of us don’t get back home till thenAnd closed two days Mon and Tues ??!!You will be closed permanently cause now summer traffic will be upset and not go if this is the case??Please take this advice we have heard this by all our neighbours and friends

The Pattie House has lost its amazing new management. I don't think it'll be able to live up to what it was like when Manu and Pooja were managing. Quite a loss to Coboconk.Review below from Feb 2023.Visited the Pattie House in Coboconk! What a local gem! It was great to see so many locals coming together to support the new management. Great atmosphere and vibe. Food portions were generous and reasonably priced. Enjoyed the pool table and darts. Would be great place to hang out to watch the game. Can't wait to visit the patio in the summer!

I have never ever walked into a restaurant hungry and struggled to eat the food. Even one dollar is too much for what they served. We had to take the patty out of the burger in order to be able to at least eat the bun and the vegetables. The patty didn't even taste like beef. And I had ordered chicken wings and the server brought me way way over cooked chicken fingers.
