Worst possible service you can ever imagine! Ordered a fireplace. After purchased I was treated very poorly. After the fireplace was brought into my house and 4 visits later did they realize my current chimney pipe was larger than what the fireplace regulations called for. Was told that they can make it 'do-able'. I called the fireplace manufacturer directly myself and they told me it was ABSOLUTELY not possible to make it 'do-able'. All around very terrible experience!

This is the second time I ordered a replacement fireplace door from Sudbury Hearth and Home. The first attempt I waited from Aug-Feb and gave up spring was weeks away. Then again Sept 14th 2021-Dec1st 2021 when I cancelled after not receiving anything but excuses.

ordered kitchen nice cupboards but vey disappointed in service after purchase was treated poorly and kitchen took 6 months too finally be completed!!

We had an excellent experience, from start to finish, with Sudbury Hearth and Home. When we initially spoke with Tom about our design ideas he proposed several suggestions that ended up being integral design features to the kitchen that we now have and love! He suggested the open front with wrap-around cabinetry, as well as going with the full depth fridge surrounded by 2 huge pantries with roll-outs. Tom ordered the kitchen and Victor delivered it on time for installation. We received excellent service and were treated in a very professional manner with follow-ups to ensure our satisfaction. We now have a fantastic and functional kitchen with loads of storage and counter space. It`s a joy to cook and spend time in this hub of our home.

Do NOT purchase from this place!! The customer service is awful! They sound knowledgeable and friendly but once you've made your purchase they are gone! We had our wood stove installed at the end of Nov 2019. We immediately noticed an annoying whistling sound whenever we closed the flue. We're now into Feb 2020 and Victor has yet to send anyone to actually remedy the problem! Phone call after phone call, promise, after promise.... he is utterly frustrating to deal with! We've actually reached out to Nordic Energy instead and they quickly responded to our concerns.We ended up having to call Regency themselves who then transferred us to Nordic for customer service. We also learned that Victor never registered our purchase for the warranty either. Regency themselves activated our warranty for us! Check!!

It would probably rate as the worse business in the Greater Sudbury area. They are initially very polite, I purchased a gas fireplace in February 2020, but they lost my parts, installed it a year later, and the installer, supposed to be a teacher at Cambrian came to set it up and left with the glass rocks I paid for. They did not re-reimburse me or return them. I have been waiting for the outer frame for the unit forever. No service, I used to call weekly, then monthly, and stop in when my blood pressure can handle it. Waste of money, looks terrible.

Although Victor appears to be knowledgeable he lacks professionalism and courtesy. I began working with Victor in January 2019 for a custom stone mantel and gas fireplace (quoted almost $17 000). We took down our brick fireplace in July & the gas fireplace was installed in middle of August. Excuse after excuse, I was told the mantel was ordered & would be ready by Dec 15th at the very latest. I decided to call the manufacture directly & found out the mantel had never been ordered. After I made a public facebook post, he called & requested that I remove it & that he would give me the mantel at cost & promised me that he would finish the project. January 2, 2020, mantel has yet to be ordered. Obviously, he does not know what he is doing and rather than being honest and saying the job is beyond him, he continued to lead us on. We will be finishing the project ourselves and will proceed to small claims court. Buyer Beware.

I called to get a quote to redo my stone fireplace. Victor Taillefer came over and appeared to be knowledgeable but on the arrogant side. If I don't know something about fireplaces, no one else will. He asked how much money I had to spend. I guess it wasn't enough for him because he never bothered to call me back or email me a quote. I would not recommend them because of their lack of professionalism and integrity.

disappointed. they came to the house to measure but then never called back. went with another company. Their loss.
