It's a scam, they made a contract with me for a tankless Water Heater and they said it was transferable to the next tenant, when it's time to move out from the hose they told me that I have to pay $7000 for buyout , while the system they installed is not worth more than a 1000 dollars. Don't deal with them, it's a real scam

John and his team were incredible with installing our fireplace. I had been shopping around and couldn't find anything that would fit within my budget for the fireplace in my basement but Jamie was able to give us a selection of fireplaces that would work for us and that were also within our budget. The unit installed looks incredible and has way more features than I initially expected. I'm not only thrilled with the final results of the install and the product I received but I felt that they were really helpful and easy to work with. I would highly recommend checking these guys out before shopping any of the extremely overpriced places claiming to be high-end.

I cannot begin to express how impressed I am with the work these guys did for me. My furnace was leaking and I called and talked to Jamie who was nice as pie. And then James came out and assessed my furnace came back an hour later and fixed it!! The same day!Seriously if you need something done do yourself a favour and call them

Had a gas fireplace installed, pricing seemed better than a few other speciality stores, but i guess you get what you pay for because initially they didn't finish the installation of the gas line or electrical and they didn't caulk around the exterior termination vent. The install was in a new house and the builder wanted 2 visits (first for the basic install, second upon completion and testing with the inspector) and just because of making the second appointment I was charged an extra $300 fee from Home Comfort (I was informed in advance, but thats still pretty steep).The sales rep who I think is also reception puts forth great effort and was very helpful, the owner on the other hand seems a bit ignorant and said the builder is supposed to hook up the wiring and gas line to the fireplace and caulk around the termination vent that HCC installed (hcc said these installs costs extra), why would my builder hire another fireplace shop to hook it up? My builder said the company who installs the fireplace is supposed to install everything (and i totally agree), they are licensed after all. Can you imagine a company coming out to your house to install a fireplace or furnace and not hook it up to electrical and gas??They did eventually hook up the gas line, but did not connect the wires or caulk the vent.After completion, the flame was a bit narrow (towards the middle) and uneven. I sent a picture and they said it was normal. However I re-arranged the logs and made it look much better myself.

Had a terrific experience with Home Comfort Center! John was out to fix our central air issue and had the problem solved within a matter of minutes. He spent time helping me understand the problem and also gave me some tips for maintaining our unit. The price, I felt was more than fair! He was very professional, no trying to sell anything that wasn't needed! Great experience, I would recommend him to anyone needing help with heating and cooling. I will most definitely use this company again!

Great service - fixed problems with both my furnace and a/c for a reasonable price!

In regards to Michelle Scott’s review – We installed the fireplace June of 2018. The beach fire kit was $180 and not $250. It is normal for a fireplace to soot up during its first few times being on because it’s burning off the coating that is on the burner. It was actually 7 months later that she contacted us regarding the soot on the glass and we did offer to go out to clean it for a service fee as maintenance cleaning of fireplaces isn’t covered under the warranty as I had told Michelle in one of our many conversations via email. As for the issue with the logs, they were left on site and may have accidentally been thrown out by one of her other contractors when they were cleaning up.In regards to Lori Johnson's review - we have never done work for her so I don't see how she can rate us. These reviews should be from people whom we have actually done work for.

Hopefully, anyone whom wants to hire Home Comfort Center will read their reviews first and go with their gut feeling.Called to get a quote, was told between $100 and $300. The guys arrived and spend less than 30 minutes, including their smoke break.I was later sent a bill for $300 and when i questioned it, I was told that that they have a minimum fee of $300 for service calls. So i kindly asked if i missed something, as why would you quote $100 if your minimum fee is $300.There is even more horror to this real life experience with Home Comfort Center. If anyone else has had these experiences with Home Comfort Center, i highly entourage you to share it so others know.

I ordered a fireplace from John and paid an upgrade of $250 to switch from the standard log set to an upgraded beach log set. The fireplace never worked properly and sooted up to the point I could not see through the glass. John wanted a $350 service call fee to service it when it was 1 month old. John did not hook the fireplace to the gas manifold because the house was a new build and manifold not in place so I paid someone else to do that but still paid John his full ask price for the installed unit even though it wasn't operating. When I had another technician out to service the unit, I was told that the wood box tray should have been switched out to accommodate the beach logs and that the original log set should have come with the unit packaged in foam. There was only the beach set left thrown in the bottom of the fire box when John left and he is refusing to provide the original set that I paid for. He is not denying they should have been provided but he is lying saying they were left. I was at the house that day before he left and after the install and there was no original set. I would NEVER use this company again or refer anyone to them again. His workmanship has become very sloppy and his integrity is non-existant.

The job proved to be a little bit more than expected but they made it right! A special shout out to Dave who worked above and beyond on a very HOT Friday! John and his entire crew are great!
