John came to our home the next day traveling out of town, and was able to fix stairlift quickly and explained what happened. We were in a bind and Silver Cross helped us out. We were closing on a house and the battery on the electric chair was no longer charging. John came out quickly, changed the battery and was kind enough to confirm with the buyers that all was fixed and working! I highly recommend Silver Cross in London. John and Christine are super to deal with and work hard to accommodate. They were able to visit our home , measure and install to 2 chairlifts the next day as my wife was suddenly no longer able climb the stairs.The chairlifts were installed by a very professional technician named José. I have 2 silver cross stair lifts, 1 ,2 years old. 1 18 mo. old. The warranty on these is only 1 year. I had repairmen out twice for # 1 and once for #2. The oldest one is the biggest problem, have to shake it to make it work, the spring on the foot rest broke,so had to tape it up out of the way, , The foot rest surface is worn out, . Now it barely moves, and stops every 6 to 8 . Not at all happy with it
