Aligned Choices Mediation
I came to know Richard through his many years of gracious care and service to my mother during her long illness in a long-term care facility. This kind of work, to do it well, requires a deep commitment to human dignity, an ability to manage and mediate the many complexities of palliative care, tending to the person in question, the people who love them and the swirling emotions that accompanies all of it. Richard has all of this in rare abundance and I can say unequivocally that these are traits that will serve well in a mediation process and I would recommend him highly to anyone seeking this kind of guidance.

We recommended Richard Bryson's services to a friend and neighbour of ours to resolve a land ownership dispute. Being in close contact with all those involved it was really impressive to see Richard at work. Prior to the mediation, the parties involved could not even be present in the same room together. Richard and his partner were critical in first getting everyone to meet and to talk again. By the end of 2 full days of mediation all parties felt better and were able to move forward. Alot of the original animosities were put aside through techniques proposed and implemented by the mediators. Excellent work.

I met Richard in 2013, when my family hired him to be our mother's caregiver. When he told me he was going into family mediation, I thought it was a perfect career transition. The two callings overlap, and I knew he would bring the same qualities to mediation that he brought to caregiving.Richard is a good listener. He's also thoughtful, insightful, level-headed, warm, fair, and compassionate - all qualities useful in tending to people in times of difficulty.The bonus is his sense of humor. Richard can see the lighter side of most situations, even tough ones, and that's a gift. My family certainly appreciated it.
