Wong Henry D Dr

Dr. Wong is very smart but he is not a great specialist. His terrible bedside manner precedes him; other Drs in the same hospital he works in bring it up unsolicited. There have been problems for years with him getting good front desk staff which leads to missed connections because of the front desk staff not doing their job... Another factor to consider: you do not want to be in Surrey hospital at all, ever, it is a prisoner of war camp for patients. Surrey hospital isn’t capable of offering good care to patients with gut problems. If you need good care for your insides go to Pacific Gastro Association or the IBD center of BC. It is farther to drive but your health is worth better care than what Dr. Wong will provide through the nightmare of Surrey Memorial Hospital. I have had Crohn’s for 17 years and only last year discovered how much better care I can get, don’t waste time with this Dr like I did.

I called the office today to see if I could get my daughter on a cancellation list as her booked appointment is scheduled but she has been terribly sick... when I spoke to reception I couldn’t have hoped for a more compassionate person to speak with and she was able to fit my daughter in sooner. I’m thankful my daughter is seeing Dr Wong as I understand he suppose to be an exceptional specialist and he definitely has exceptional people working reception. It’s now been a few months of Dr Wong seeing my daughter and I can’t be more thankful as I truly believe he has saved my daughter’s life and his receptionist is still as awesome as the first time we ever met.

One of the best specialist doctors that I have seen. Very thorough in explaining in details the medical problem that he diagnosed on the first try after I have seen 2 other specialists in the past.

One of the rudest Dr's I've ever experienced. He wants yes or no answers, doesn't want any explanation or listens. Argues about what treatment is best for me" and making comparison to illnesses that not even relevant to my situation. He may have knowledge on illnesses and medications but he has horrible bed side manners

Absolutely has no interest in doing his job. Highly recommended that any woman steer vehemently clear of this office.After waiting 4 months for an appointment, I feel truly offended that he would waste my time and treat me like a hysterical woman because I was concerned for my health which my doctor agreed on, kind of why I was given a referral.Pathetic.

I called the doctors office to inquire about a appointment. The receptionist should NOT be gainfully employed working at a doctors office making appointments for sick people! Beware if you go here to be greeted by a extreme rude and tart women at the front desk! She needs to find a different job! I’m going to find a different doctor.

I had been referred to this specialist by another doctor and had been waiting for six months for the appointment. Dr. Wong conducted the consultation over the phone and seemed disinterested and had already made up his mind about my condition. Dr. Wong did not show empathy or concern for my symptoms and refused to perform any tests, instead I was told they will be sending a suggestion to my primary care physician, but I never received any suggestions. I feel disappointed and dissatisfied after waiting six months for the appointment. Just a waste of time.

Had a scheduled phone appointment with this doctor. I answered the phone a second too late. Called right back and the staff answered and said will let him know, But I ended up missing my appointment that i waited for months.

NOT A RELIABLE AND TRUSTWORTHY PLACE. DON’T BOOK THE MEETING. We booked the in-person meeting with his office. We went on the appointment day to find out that they are not taking patients in-person and tried calling to see if they can talk to us over the phone and never responded. So we had to leave the place. We waited 4 months to get this specialist’s appointment who specializes in lowest customer service possible. I wish I can give -5 as rating..

Too bad i can not rate this one with 0 star !!! The worst !! Rude ! Interrupting ! Not listening and rushing ! Person like this should not be a doctor ! Don't waste your time and go somewhere else ! Does not worth 3 moths of waiting !Horrible expedience ! Was waiting for help , and got nothing ! Nothing except tears !
