Bill Bowes from Highliner Trailers came to our rescue when our boat trailer had broken down in Friday Rush Hour traffic in October 2020! First of all, he helped us find a towing company that was able to remove rusted wheel bolts, and jimmy our trailer so we could limp the short distance to the Highliner trailer yard. No small feat since our boat is very heavy, and tall and no towing company could tow us! Secondly, he was able to fix our trailer, that we had admittedly not done proper maintenance upkeep on during the 12 years that we had owned it. We are not from the lower mainland, and he was kind enough to let us keep our boat in the Highliner yard for 4 months (during pandemic restrictions, and snowy interior winter roads). Thirdly, he had our boat towed to and from a boat shop so that our motors could be winterized, so that they were not damaged. Finally, he allowed us to show prospective buyers our boat (which we sold) while it was still in the Highliner yard! The service, attention and honesty that Bill and his crew at Highliner Trailers showed us- complete strangers- was way above and beyond!! I would highly recommend them, and give them a 10 STAR rating!!

I had the pleasure of working with the owner Bill to take care of an issue I had with another vendor who did not share the same level of importance with my concerns over some preventative maintenance.I wanted to have warrantied service to my brand new trailer I used only 4 times. Essentially, my bearing caps were cracked on the right side and had taken in salt water and were showing minor signs of rust on the spindle end and keeper nut. The side that was not cracked was still in pristine condition so my concerns were valid.Bill runs a busy shop and I wasn't sure when he could fit me in. But I was willing to be patient. He basically let me decide how soon I wanted the work done and told me he would do his best to fit me in.I dropped the trailer off 2 days after we spoke on the phone. That was the best time for me. When I met him in person I could see he cares greatly about detail and has great pride in the work he does. He doesn't just build or fix trailers. He designs, improves and makes trailers that potentially outlast the boats they are intended for. He took me on a tour to see all his builds and repairs. I was quite impressed. His excitement to explain his attention to detail was a sight for sore eyes.Super long story short...When I picked up the trailer 2 days later, he came out to see me again,He took a quick look at the tounge section and found a few design flaws. He gathered his team together and had them basically revamp the whole front section to be more level and include the proper safety gear. He even added a electrical plug receptacle.This fine sir did all this work for free including the bearing work. We need more people like this in our world. The level of service I received from Bill at Highliner, was second to none. He took the time to answer my questions (in the busiest time of year!) and provided me with sound advice which got me out of the water again in record time. Based on my experience with Bill, I will be a lifelong Highliner Trailer customer and would recommend this company any day.

I used my new Highliner trailer for the first time over the weekend and I'm very happy with it. The trailer looks great and is built solid. I would also like to thank and recognize Bill Bowes from Highliner trailer for fantastic customer service. Bill spoke to me over the phone providing lots of valuable information and things too consider when purchasing a trailer. He met me late one afternoon to put my boat onto the new trailer and he got the tools out to make some minor adjustments. He new the trailer meat a lot to me and wanted me to leave safe and happy with my new purchase. I would recommend his services and Highliner trailers to any of my friends or family.

Absolutely an exceptional company. Customer service far superior to any other trailer company in British Columbia. We rely heavily on their equipment and their customer service to keep us moving!!! Highly recommended……If you cannot afford perfection & reliability don’t shop here.

I have a 30 year old 18’ Highliner trailer that we use to tow our beloved Hourston Glasscraft boat. We recently had issues where we had been having bearings blowout during almost every trip out to the ocean. I made a few phone calls to Highliner Trailers and after exchanging emails with Bill he discovered that I needed to replace my entire axle as the spindles were toast. We had a week long trip to Vancouver Island planned for the end of summer and we take our boat every year. At first Bill said it would take a few weeks to get an axle in. I told Bill that our trip was less then two weeks away and it looked like our boat would not be coming along with us. Bill called me back the next day and said he had pulled some strings and had the guys in the shop making an axle for me as we speak. The very next day Bill called and told me my new axle was ready for pick up. I couldn’t believe it. The new axle installed without any issues. We just returned from our trip to Campbell River where we enjoyed fishing, tubing and boating adventures. Bill and his crew made this happen for us and it really put a great cap on the end of summer. Bill was great, all the staff were great. Bill knew what he was talking about to help me modify a trailer to with with a different boat. Can’t say enough about the customer service!

Went in to get light replaced and to ask if new boat was sitting properly on trailer 4 days before trip to interior. Bill was super helpful and took time to explain how the trailer should be fitted for boat. On a long trip my boat would have been damaged for sure. $$$. It now is custom fitted, boat is protected, and safe for travel for the life of the boat and trailer. I’m inexperienced, and he showed my a bunch of safety items to be watchful for (even though I arrived 10 minutes after they had closed on a Friday). You can tell that he cares about clients and his craft. Straight up, no BS guy. Highly recommended.

I have a 2019 Roadrunner trailer with Fulton foldable neck. There was some obvious sag at the fulton. Fulton told me it was not safe to drive like that. I called Roadrunner the week before long weekend and begged to help me but they were too busy. Our family has some big boat plans and I was short on time, my wife was out of town and had my young daughter and a puppy to look after.I called Highliner, Bill answered, He listened to my sad story about solo dad and short on time. He dropped everything, Sent his truck to my house, picked up the trailer same day, removed the boat installed a new tongue, slide axle rearward to achieve more tongue weight, replaced winch and slide guides.Then called to say it was done and delivered it back to my house after. I would say the customer service is over the top. Bill went above and beyond anything he had to, to help me out. Amazing guy and great company to deal with.I read the google reviews before I called him. Its true what people say. Believe it. Thanks again for your help Bill

Great Customer Service / Great ProductI have had a Highliner Trailer for 10 years and it has held up great! They make a top quality product! I recently have been in the market for a new trailer and their service has been above and beyond!
