H&R Block

The employee showed up 10 minutes late for the appointment so me and another lady were waiting outside. When I got in and showed him my earnings as as a part-time self employed music teacher and student, he said the fee would be $400. When they called to confirm the night before, I explained exactly my part-time work and student status, and there was no mention of such a fee. With my income being quite low and being a student, he knew that I was in no position to pay that fee. He said that he would charge me as a full business, even though I am just a private contractor. He said he would not do my student tax return either if I did not do the $400 business fee. Such a waste of time. I spent more time waiting in the parking lot than in the building.

I recently had my taxes done by the tax professional Eric. He was professional in all communication, was great at responding to questions I had and was able to suggest various receipts to produce that may help in improving my return. The return was done quickly and without any hassle on my part!

Great experience as usual. My normal tax professional passed away sadly. My condolences to your team. He was a good man that assisted me after having past issues with people preparing my papers. He was friendly and detailed with his work. Great friendly personality. This year, Liliana took over and was pleasant and inviting. Very pleased with her professionalism and personality. I left out a star because the front desk representive has traditionally been the most frustrating part. Making an appointment always appears to be a challenge. I have seen three people at this point working the front and they always seem confused. Nice people, just confused. More training may help.

All the headache and nervousness was relieved by handing over to professionals to make sure everything was handled with care and appropriately. Extremely kind and courteous staff allowed for fast and efficient process and I can't recommend Joel who both my mother and I worked with enough. He explained everything very well and made us feel very reassured it was very much worth the expertise. Can't thank you enough and will see you next time needed.

I filed my taxes with Tania and she was fantastic! I felt very at ease with her. She was professional, kind, and took the time to explain everything in detail whenever I had questions. Great services, I had my taxes backed up from 2013 and Joel made the process a piece of cake! I learned quite a bit about accounting that I never quite picked up in school and it was all done through a walk-in appointment within the span of 1 day. 10/10 would recommend
