I received an excellent 1-month resume training during my job search process. The education I received had a significant effect on my job entry. I would like to thank all the Job skill Markham all staff for their help, kindness and caring. I would also like to special thank my instructor, Carol Takahashi. I came to Jobs Skills after I was laid off. The environment is very welcoming. Staffs are very nice and helpful. My EC is Mr. Lawrence and he is very knowledgeable , professional and dedicated person. He helped me with resume building and got me back on track on job search by using the tools and resources. In addition to the wealth of information and services available to me, I also received a very personal engagement in the form of timely check-ups, resume retooling and interview training that pushed me to succeed despite my own procrastination; I was able to find new employment rather quickly. I'm so greatful for the help that Job Skills has provided. My case manager, Nito, was attentive, understanding and supportive from our very first meeting. She and Carol helped to get my resume in great shape. Nito found a great job opportunity and personally drove to the job site to check it out. Having gotten to know my personality and job preferences, she knew it would be a perfect fit and forwarded my resume which resulted in an interview. I was nervous but she was reassuring and helped to prepare me for the big day. She kept regular contact while I waited for an answer and gave advice on how to proceed when I got the offer. I wouldn't be employed now if it wasn't for her.Carol also kept in contact and I got lots of insightful and useful information from her workshops.
