Bistro La Belle Excuse Inc
Très bon service et la nourriture était si savoureuse que j’en avais l’eau à la bouche. Nous avons été accueillis par une équipe très sympathique qui nous a fait sentir comme à la maison. Très belle expérience et nous y retournerons sans aucun doute.Je recommande à tous d’y aller au moins une fois afin de découvrir ce chaleureux restaurant.

Food was ok'ish (snails were very good, the rest not so much) and the waitress sympathetic. But the service bad, prices ridiculous and the ambience awful, very noisy, with clients speaking loud and frequently even screaming. Sub-par, over-prized, not to recommend.

An excellent restaurant and a wonderful discovery. We came here for my friend's birthday. The service is impeccable and friendly. The food is incredible, especially if you order the all-you-can-eat mussels (les moules à volonté)--the julienne fries are all-you-can-eat as well. I ordered from the table d'hôte menu. There is also a bistro menu. The wine selections are wonderful. They even keep the white wines refrigerated. This is a great restaurant to celebrate either in a group or one-on-one with that special someone.

Excellent service! Ceci étant dit, la nourriture était plutôt décevante vu le prix. Elle n'était pas mauvaise, mais la salade césar goûtait vraiment beaucoup l'ail, à un point tel où le goût est resté en bouche même après tout le repas, le burger à 20$ n'avait presque pas de garniture et était plutôt sec, et la crème de ma crème brûlée était séparée. J'adore cet endroit et il s'agit peut-être seulement d'une mauvaise soirée en cuisine, mais ce n'était pas à la hauteur de la nourriture à laquelle j'y suis habitué. Je précise avoir mentionné certains de ses problèmes à la serveuse, mais à la fin du service je me suis abstenu comme je me sentais mal pour elle qui nous offrait un si bon service.

I attended a supper with a group of about 12 people and to be fair I was the only one who didn't enjoy their meal, but I also eat anything. The table d'hote that evening was a lobster pasta with citrus sauce, beginner salad was simply Boston lettuce and a pinch of garnish. As for the main, I honestly asked the waitress if it was goberge, nothing in the way that it was made left me to believe this was actual lobster. And the sauce was simply evoo; no taste of citrus at all. The wait staff made me feel as though I had completely no reason to even suggest that it wasn't lobster. I would have simply suggested to have plated differently as to not even create a doubt in the customers mind. I had two desserts because they were delicious, the coffee too.

Love the food and service here. I am unable to speak french but they were always able and willing to accomodate my party for lunch or dinner. Lunch variety is excellent and very reasonable cost. Dinner menu is more expanded and larger portions and associated cost. Very relaxed and homey atmosphere.

No excuse not to take a detour to try out this place out! We were there on May 20th 2018. From the starter to the dessert, total freshness. Very relaxing atmosphere. We did not visit the terrasse but pretty certain that would further enhance the bistro experience. Une belle excuse de s’y rendre à nouveau. Éric L(West-Island)
