yesterday was my husband's birthday and I decided to order him sushi for a celebratory dinner. I ordered 7 rolls for takeout, I was told to wait 20 minutes and everything was fine with the waiting time - my order was delivered on time, the service was polite. when we sat down to dinner, the first thing my husband tasted was a BC roll with smoked salmon skin and it was completely burnt, it tasted terrible..you can see it in the photo. I also ordered 2 Bagel rolls, with smoked salmon and the amount of salmon inside was minimal. the other sushi tasted good, but the price seems a bit high to me, I paid $61 for these two packs. I was also given very little soy sauce, almost to the bottom of 4 small boxes, not enough ginger and wasabi. unpleasant impressions and a bitter residue in the form of a burnt roll

Amazing service with free salad, miso soup and orange for dessert for dine in customers. I love their Gamjatang and Tofu seafood soup, really flavorful and full of toppings (seafood) compared to any other Korean restaurants ive tried before. Highly recommended !!!!

Probably one of the best meals I have had in a while. This is a hidden Gem! Well worth the drive and then some. Had the YukGae Jang (#206) the flavors of this dish were stupendous. Highly recommend!

This is a five star review from a very disappointed regular customer. I work nearby and I go here once every couple month when I want to have a nice Asian lunch and take a break from the day. However the food quality really annoyed me this time, and I will never come back again. Please do not order their Soon Tofu. The mussels in that soup are the lowest and cheapest quality in the Winnipeg market without proper cleaning. Full of mud, sand and few of them even have inedible water plants in them. The only one large scallop in the soup had a small brunch of water plants about the width of my finger. ( I bit it and couldn’t chew it in my mouth and spite it out) That scallop was so big and they could even clean the weeds inside of it, can you imagine how dirty other ingredients are. I understand how hard to maintain a good rating on google, so I didn’t give 1 star. But please respect your customers, pick and clean your ingredients with care.

The majority of my order was quite good. The spring rolls....do not order...they were good, but were half of the size that you would get at a Chinese restaurant. Also, if you order deep fried calimari...good luck finding a little of squid encased in batter that was at least 3x bigger or more. It still is giving me nasty repercussions. As well, the staff was so quick to bag your order and hurry you out the door as this place can only probably hold 20 people. So what was the rude rush? Better places to check out in West St. James.

Solid sushi, fast service and good prices. Well worth a try! Everything tasted fresh and if I’m in the neighbourhood again, I would come back. However, at least the rolls I tried (black dragon and kamikaze), were nothing to write home about, and I probably won’t take a special trip to come back.

Very polite staff. Excellent sushi and variety. Menu was quite extensive and had a hard time picking what to have but that just gives me more reasons to make repeat trips. All of my choices were flavourful and the presentation was some of the best I’ve ever seen. A bit expensive but worth it.

This restaurant used to be a favourite of mine since my very favourite Momos closed or went to new owners. I’ve ordered from here three times before and was very satisfied on this past visit yesterday the spicy pork taste it off had no Korean hot sauce and looks like it was boiled we had no side dishes And I let the owner know when they offered me another dish of pork. Why would I want another dish of the same horrible thing I think they have changed cooks or something because this was very unacceptable for the money. I spent $83.

I'm a regular customer here and always satisfied their food and service. I'm a foodie so I've been many sushi restaurants in wpg and I bet sushi one is the best sushi place if you wanna taste decent food at a reasonable price! As a matter of fact, they serve apps and dessert for free!! Oh and their Korean food is genuine/authentic and amazing. I'm thinking of eating their every single dish! LolOverall, nothing to complain about :))
