We went last weekend and it was very busy. The parking was filled quickly. The ice are very well maintained and lots of space to skate around.

Beautiful place to go skating. If you go after dark they light the path for you. Not too busy and they have the domes, which is perfect for a snack with the family.

The oval is a great place to skate. Decent ice quality. Families, friends, couples, all enjoying safe outdoor skating. Fire pits, tables, rest rooms, plenty parking. Parking attendants control flow and quota.

Lots of fun. Was pretty busy the day we went.. but able to spend a few hours skating until the evening. Lights were beautiful on the pathway.

Spent a wonderful afternoon skating at this well kept outdoor ice skating rink. Love the trail off the main skating area, slightly rougher than the main skating rink but still lots of fun for the adventurous skaters out there! The change area for putting on skates is super warm and has lots of space for your bags and boots. Highly recommend this fun space! Also have a spot for roasting wieners if you are energetic enough to bring wood and enjoy the spot right beside the rink for a picnic.

We went because the pics showed they had a firepit and nice Christmas lights. They didn't have either. The set up is quite pretty, however for safety reasons the trails should be better lit. Overall would recommend. Suggest that you bring a thermos if hot beverages. There are small lockers available for a quarter. Indoor bathrooms and a water fountain inside.

Enjoyed my first skating experience here in Edmonton. The ice was noticeably well kept and the rink was spacious and well lit. There’s also a heated building with seats, lockers and washrooms.

Victoria Park Skating Oval
This is a rink used for speed skating events that is also open for public use. This means it is one of the best kept outdoor rinks in Edmonton! Ice is always very smooth and it is a massive skating rink close to the size of a football field. Even when it is busy, when you are on the ice you never feel crowded. There is a nice indoor place to put your skates on and it’s is well lit at night and they play music as well. Only tough part is finding parking on busy nights, but you can fix that by going at less busy times. If you need a place to go skating in Edmonton this is my first recommendation.
