Hidden gem. Great prices and a wide variety of foods from Vietnamese subs to pho to Chinese food to regular soup and sandwiches. Love the beef satay sub!

Friend and I are semi-regulars here, where the subs and soup are amazing. Staff is extremely friendly, and have often started our order as we wandered up to the front, welcoming us and engaging in conversation. An excellent family-run business.

Hubby ordered a sate beef sub for take out on his way home afterwork. Although the beef was tender and flavourful i was disappointed with the bun, it was not the traditional banh mi baguette that im use to, seems like it was just a brown sub bun. I think I would order my viet sub from somewhere else.

Ive been going to Apple Eatery for 25 years and other than the change in daily specials when the new owners took over and a lack of beef in black bean sauce this place is great! I always get the dumplings and the serve yourself soup is one of the best values around. $2.65 including tax for a large with 2 cracker packs included and you can help yourself to a fortune cookie! The salt and pepper squid is some of the best I have had. Solid lunch place!

I have had their Vietnamese sub, hot and sour soup and breakfast sandwich and they are nothing short of incredible and the prices are excellent. I HIGHLY recommend this hidden gem for your breakfast or lunch, you will not be disappointed. The breakfast sandwich is utterly phenomenal, 100 times better than Tim Horton's, McDonalds or A&W.

I tried some of their chicken, fried rice and beef & veggies recently. On the minus side, the chicken was rather dry, but at the same time I was hungry so it tasted alright. As for the other foods I got, they were decent enough, nothing special. There are definitely superior choices when it comes to Chinese food than here, but it's certainly not the worst!

This is truly a hidden gem. Really good shrimp salad rolls with spicy peanut sauce. Chicken soup was really good, too. Great quality of food, friendly service. Highly recommend!
