A good place for a summer walk if you are in the vicinity. The path is well trodden and there are no wow" views. The Orchard trail is also not a loop

We walked the Orchard Trail, lots of spots to stop and take in a view of the river. We had a dog with us (on leash at all times) and did find a tick on her when we got back so make sure to check yourself and your pets!

I don't recommend this location because I don't want too many people to know about it. Super duper park! Not easy trails, good for sports.

The perfect getaway spot in Toronto's east end. It feels like you're far from the city in the middle of nature. Beautiful riverside walks and spectacular views from the hill tops. Great to visit any time of the year.

This is an amazing set of trails that winds along Rouge Creek and up through some of the nicest wooded areas I've seen around Toronto. The route we took was definitely not for the beginner hiker, there are some steep hills but the trails are well kept and it is easy navigate with tree markings along the way. Parking was free at Glen Rouge Campground.

Good starting point to explore Southern parts of Rouge national park. A variety of landscapes to adventure on. Easy to moderate trails. Several fallen trees blocked the Mast trail at different points. A few sections of trails were near river banks that have been washed away or collapsed. These could be exciting for some and challenging/dangerous for others.

A great long trail with side road trail. The lookout point is just 5 minutes from the entrance trail. Along the trail, you can bird singing, creek, lakes and terrace. Easy path to walk. Good for family and pet walker. Parking to the Rouge National Urban Park is pretty small, more parking down to Twyn Rivers Dr.

So many places to walk out here. It is bigger than Central Park in New York. Fresh air, trees, water and nature all around. Definitely dog friendly too. You can join the local walking clubs or nature walks here as well. Certain times of year there are ticks in the area so keep you little ones and furry ones close by and check them after too
