King West Village Cleaners and tailors

King West Cleaners went above and beyond for me. I needed some items cleaned on a rush in advance of a meeting and they ensured that everything got cleaned in time, and even opened early to allow me to pick my items up.Further, they were able to remove a stain that I was certain would be on one of my shirts for good. Overall a fantastic service and I would recommend King West Cleaners to anybody!

Horrible horrible place. Avoid at all costs. First of all, this place will absolutely gauge you for everything you’ve got. I brought in 3 pieces and was charged nearly 160 dollars to fix minor tears and 1 zipper. Absolutely insane prices.When I complained at the counter, the man said “we do great work, so it’s worth the price”. Hilariously, when I returned home I realized that the charm that I specifically asked to be kept on my sweater had been removed and replaced with a cheap plastic zipper. Horrible service, horrible quality, crazy prices!!In comparison, the sweet man who works at St Clair textiles (1066 st clair west) took in 4 pairs of pants for me today and charged me 45 dollars. He does a great job, is honest and reliable, and doesn’t charge an arm and a leg.I went to king west village cleaners out of convenience but I will never be back. I highly recommend others do the same!

This shop is owned and ran by the kindest man named Wayne. He has a pride of business and he does his best with every piece he recieves. They do dry cleaning, alterations and oxygen cleaning for items that have a smell but can’t be typically dry or wet cleaned (and probably more services that I haven’t used yet!). I was a bit nervous to get a dress altered as I had gained weight, when I went they were very kind and assured me they could alter the dress to fit me now. They are body positive, accommodating and very communicative. I am very happy with the service Wayne and his colleagues provide. Thank you Wayne.

Wayne and his staff go above and beyond for you here - I don’t know how Wayne remembers EVERY customer’s name (it’s got to be a superpower!) but he makes everyone feel special and gives them a personalized experience every time. The clothes always come back in a timely manner, looking and smelling super clean. The prices are very, very affordable and reasonable especially considering it’s on King Street. Alterations, dry-cleaning, everything 10/10 but the real thing that keeps people coming back is the friendly staff.

Bad service and I believe it’s not worth price for their work too.I left my jeans for zipper repair, they assured that in a week everything will be ready for pick up. I went to the store in a week (on Saturday), it was not ready and we agreed that whenever my item is ready for pick up, they will text me.I have never received message from them and I believe that they failed eta.It was not super urgent task but none has beenletting me know about any delay.UPDT: the salon kindly offered different options to resolve an issue.

If you need dry cleaning or alterations done, trust me when I say you should go here! Not only do they treat your garments with the utmost care, they are truly some of the kindest and most caring people you could ask for. I wouldn’t naturally think to leave a review for a dry cleaning/alteration business, but the fact that I’m sitting here writing this is a testament to how much I appreciate the way they run their business! 100% recommend!!

Extremely friendly, honest (I had forgotten to tell them about a missing button when I went in and they tried to take responsibility for it and find me a replacement), and did a great job on my items! Recommend!

Truly a real neighbourhood find. Friendly, knowledgeable staff who greeted me by name on my second visit. Meticulous workmanship with alterations to pants, shirts and jackets. Reliable cleaning, always ready as promised. Highly recommended.
