Very happy with the service. The vets and staff are super friendly and caring about your pet. I've been to this vet for emergencies 3 times in the past year, twice in the last week, and everything they did was amazing every single time. Yes it's a bit more expensive then your regular vet but you don't have to wait days or weeks to see them so it's worth it. If you live in the surrounding area and have a pet, save this address in your gps app for emergencies.

Had an emergency with my dog at 12 a.m., and this was one of the handful of veterinarian centers open at such a late hour. Had to wait quite a while, but that's to be expected at such an hour with little staff. Still, they were helpful and diagnosed my dog fairly quickly and efficiently as he's gotten better over the past few days. They had the medicine I needed on hand, which was great. So hats off to the workers, and thanks for helping my best bud.

They're absolutely amazing. They really care about your furry friends. Loved the staff.Update: if you come with an appointment, you may be waiting at least 3.5-4 hours. Just a heads-up. Otherwise, they're still great :)

Thought the circumstances for going there were unfortunate, the service from the staff was incredible. I had to go there to have my ferret put to sleep and the staff were all extremely kind and caring. They gave me all the time I needed to say my goodbyes and were extremely gentle and soothing through the whole process. Though I hope I don't have to go back anytime soon, I know that if I need to bring a pet to the vet, this will be the one I will be going to.

Honestly I'm not sure how I feel about this veterinary hospital. I want to preface these comments by saying I am a certified animal health technician with 12 years of experience (I worked mostly with cats and dogs, but I have owned rats for over 15 years).I've brought two rats in as emergencies and both times it was after hours so I had to see a general vet instead of an exotics vet, which is fine. However, I do feel like the care was not everything it could have been. Both times my rats were painful or uncomfortable, and both times I was not given any pain medication and had to find a way to medicate them on my own (and saw major improvements after adding the pain medication). The second time specifically has been a more frustrating experience. Not only was I not given any pain meds, but the two antibiotics given to me were to be given every 12 hours, when it is common to try and find a medication that is given every 24 hours to reduce the stress on the rat (and the owner) especially since my rat refuses to take meds in his food. Now, if that wasn't possible then fine, but nobody explained why I couldn't have a medication that works every 24 hours even after I had expressed my reluctance. Now my rat is already very old, and I've been continuing the antibiotics because the moment I stop he restarts his respiratory symptoms. He is near the end of his life I know, and yet I have been refused a renewal of his medication. I cannot afford another visit for personal reasons, and regardless, considering the situation I think it's a bit short-sighted to not allow me a renewal. I did have an exam done, I'm not entirely sure why I need another one and this was not explained to me either. So I'm left hanging which is a bit ridiculous.Unfortunately, I have no choice but to go to this hospital in the event of an emergency as they are the only emergency hospital that even takes exotic pets, but if I had another choice I'd probably take it.The one thing I can say is that everyone is very nice and professional which is appreciated.

My dog collapsed and had to be EU. Given the circumstances, my rating may be susceptible to bias... so I included some details of my experience with CVL below.About a month ago, our dog collapsed (no symptoms prior to the event). Due to the time of the incident, we were referred to CVL by another vet clinic that was approaching their closing time. We arrived with a blood sample (sampled by the first clinic) to be tested. Unfortunately, they never reported the results of the analysis. The vet at CVL did not have the ability to answer questions and seemed programmed to repeat sentences from a textbook. The vet at CVL suggested additional procedures and never reported the outcome of those either. We opted for additional X-Rays to better understand what was happening, but these were never reported either. In the end, their only solution was to EU our dog. Unfortunately, our wish to discuss it with our family for just a few minutes was not respected. To prevent potential suffering, we opted for EU. To this day, however, we are not sure what happened to our dog and whether we made the correct decision. Once we arrived for the EU, we were asked to pay additional bills and view an endless catalogue of urns (etc.) before seeing our dog for the last time. I don't blame the clinic for the outcome. I blame the clinic for the quality of the staff that was assigned to us.

My experience with the dermatologist Dre Sophie Gilbert was good, although the service at this hospital is very unpleasant. In the hopes of having my dog lay on his back, the dermatologist's assistant attempted to trip him, by pulling on him with all her weight and shouting at me to pull his paw. When I spoke to the technician about my experience afterwards, they quite rudely told me that is a very normal procedure. Afterwards, I was told that customer service would take note of my complaint and call me back. Not only did customer service not call me back, but I never got a follow-up phone call, which was scheduled for 2 weeks after the dermatologist saw my dog, which I was promised would happen. Overall, not only was this an awful experience for myself, but for my dog as well. Rather than categorizing pets as 'aggressive', maybe veterinarians should be better trained to handle larger breeds/anxious pets, in order to offer a more pleasant experience. My experience with this team has been very unpleasant, as they are unprofessional, and they do not seem to be adequately trained to handle larger breeds.
